Assembly

Assembling the Vacuum

  1. Connect the extension wand to the motorized foot until it clicks.
  2. Connect hand vacuum to extension wand until it clicks.
  3. Charge before first use.

Assembling the Wall Mount

  1. Pull and remove wall mount from plate.
  2. Secure plate to the wall with the three screws, making sure the charging cable reaches from wall mount to outlet. Note: Use provided dry wall anchors unless drilling directly into a stud.
  3. Slide mount onto plate until it clicks.
  4. Connect charger to side of mount, then plug into wall.
  5. Place vacuum on mount.
  6. Attach tools to mount. They will click into place.

Charging the Battery

Charging Without Wall Mount

  1. Power OFF. Press and hold battery release button, then pull battery out of vacuum.
  2. Plug charger into wall.
  3. Plug charger into battery.

Charging With Wall Mount

  1. Power OFF. Place vacuum on wall mount. Machine should start charging automatically when properly mounted. Battery indicator lights flash when charging.
  2. Machine will take up to 2 hours to charge. Battery lights will turn off when fully charged.

Charging on Unit Separate from Wall Mount

  1. Power OFF. Plug charger into back of hand vacuum. Battery indicator lights flash when charging.
  2. Machine will take up to 2 hours to charge. Battery lights will turn off when fully charged.

Using Your Vacuum

This vacuum can be used as a stick vacuum, hand vacuum, or extended reach with a hand vacuum and wand. For best results, use Eco mode for carpet cleaning.

  1. Press power button to turn machine ON. It will start in Medium mode.
  2. Choose your cleaning mode for your task and surface type. Press mode button to switch between three modes:
    • Eco: For smaller light messes. RUNTIME Up to 40 mins.
    • Medium: Optimal balance of power and runtime. For most regular household messes. RUNTIME Up to 25 mins.
    • Turbo: For heavy messes that require maximum suction power. Use sparingly to preserve battery life. RUNTIME Up to 13 mins.

Above-Floor Cleaning

Using the Hand Vacuum
  1. Power OFF. Press release button to remove extension wand or tools.
  2. Attach your desired tool. Note: The hand vacuum has a built-in crevice tool.
  3. Use tool to clean furniture, stairs or other surfaces.
Using the Extension Wand
  1. Power OFF. Use your foot to gently press the wand release lever. Pull up on hand vacuum to remove.
  2. Attach your desired tool. Note: The hand vacuum has a built-in crevice tool.

Emptying the Dirt Tank

  1. Power OFF. Press release button on dirt tank and pull outward to remove.
  2. Pull separator out of dirt tank.
  3. Tap separator on waste bin to remove debris.
  4. Empty debris into waste bin.
  5. Reinstall separator.
  6. Reinstall dirt tank by aligning the bottom of the tank with the notch on the hand vacuum. Rotate the tank inward until it clicks into place.

Cleaning and Replacing the Filters

Pre-Motor Filter

  1. Power OFF. Remove dirt tank.
  2. Pull pre-motor filter down to remove.
  3. Remove pre-motor filter from filter basket.
  4. Rinse under warm water.
  5. Let dry for 24 hours before reinstalling. Note: A wet or damp filter will affect suction performance.
  6. Place filter back into basket with the foam filter on the bottom. Insert the filter basket into the hand vacuum, aligning the basket clip with the groove. Push the back upward until it clicks into place.

Post-Motor Filter

For optimal performance, replace the filter every 3 months.

  1. Power OFF. Remove dirt tank.
  2. Remove pre-motor filter basket.
  3. Post motor filter is located inside the hand vacuum. Twist the post-motor filter clockwise to unlock and remove.
  4. Wipe post-motor filter with a cloth to clean off any debris.
  5. Reinstall by twisting counterclockwise back into machine.
  6. Reinstall pre-motor filter.

Maintaining the Brush Roll

  1. Power OFF. Remove foot from extension wand. Press brush roll release button.
  2. Remove brush roll and clear debris.
  3. Wipe brush roll and chamber with a dry cloth.
  4. Insert brush roll into foot, ensuring flat surface faces out.
  5. Lower the brush roll latch until it clicks into place, securing the brush roll.
  6. Press the tool brush roll release button and pull brush roll out of chamber.
  7. Wipe brush roll and chamber with a dry cloth.
  8. Reinstall brush roll into the tool.

Note: Any other maintenance or servicing not included in this manual should be performed by an authorized service representative.

Troubleshooting

Below are some of the issues you may run into. If you don't see the issue you're experiencing below, visit support.BISSELL.com.

Problem Possible Cause Remedies
Machine won't turn ON Battery power is low. Fully charge battery.
Dust discharges from the exhaust Filter is damaged. Replace filter.
Filter is incorrectly installed. Remove and reinstall filter.
Loss of suction Filter is dirty. Clean or replace filter.
Filter is clogged. Clean or replace filter.
Dirt tank is full. Empty tank.
The middle LED of the power mode lights flashes three times, and the motor turns OFF Complete air blockage. Check for clogs in extension wand and filter.
Foot or upholstery tool lights blinking Clogged brush roll. Power OFF. Remove the foot/tool and check for debris or obstructions.
Stalled brush roll. Check cleaning surface. Use a lower mode setting to avoid small rugs/carpet from stalling brush roll.
Blinking error lights Various reasons. Turn machine OFF and allow to cool before turning back on. If this does not work, contact BISSELL Consumer Care.
