Photo Resolution
Recommended resolution is 8MP. Options: 1MP, 3MP, 5MP, 8MP, 12MP, 16MP, 20MP.
Photo Series
Select the number of photos per trigger: single shot, 2 photos in series, or 10 photos in series.
Video Resolution
Options: 20MP (5200x3900 interpolated), 16MP (4608x3456 interpolated), 12MP (4000x3000 interpolated), 8MP (3264x2448), 5MP (2592x1944), 3MP (2048x1536), 1MP (1280x960).
Video Length
Set video clip length from 3-60 seconds or 1-10 minutes. Longer recording times reduce battery life.
Audio Recording
Enable sound recording during video capture.
Shot Lag
Set the delay before the camera reacts to subsequent triggers (5-60 seconds or 1-60 minutes) to avoid excessive recordings of the same event.
Side Motion Sensors
Default is ON. These sensors widen the detection angle and improve response time. They can be turned OFF if needed to avoid false triggers from twigs or sunlight.
Sensitivity Motion Sensors
Adjust the sensitivity of the main motion sensor (High, Normal, Low) based on environmental conditions. High is for warm ambient temperatures, Low for cold.
Target Recording Time
Set specific active periods for the camera. The camera will only record during these times.
Time Lapse
Disables the PIR sensor and captures photos/videos at set intervals. Useful for monitoring distant areas or events like sunrises.

Serial No.
Enable a 4-digit serial number to identify cameras, useful for multi-camera setups.
Reset Setting
Restore all parameters to factory default settings.
Aligning The Camera
Use TEST mode to optimize exposure angle and motion sensor range. Fasten the camera 3-6 feet high and align it. Move slowly across the target area, observing the motion display (blue for side sensors, red for front sensor) to determine the best alignment. Ensure the camera is not placed in direct sunlight or near moving branches. The sensor angle is approximately 100°, and the photo/video field is around 89°.
Camera Ready to Use - Switch to ON
After setting preferences, slide the switch to ON. The motion indicator LED will blink red for about 15 seconds. Any motion detected by the PIR sensor will activate the camera. If further motion is detected within 5 minutes, it will record; otherwise, it returns to standby.

- Ensure the power switch is correctly set to ON or TEST.
- Avoid switching directly from ON to TEST; always go through OFF.
Still Photo and/or Video Quality Problems
- Night photos/videos too dark: Check battery level, ensure subject is within flash range (65ft), and consider that rapid retriggering may reduce flash recharge time.
- Daytime photos/videos too dark: Ensure the camera is not aimed at the sun or bright light sources.
- Night photos/videos too bright: Subjects may appear too bright at close distances.
- Daytime photos/videos too bright: Ensure the camera is not aimed at the sun or bright light sources.
- Photos with streaked subject: In low light or with fast-moving subjects, 8MP resolution may perform better than 12MP or 16MP. Try the 8MP setting.
- Short video clips: Check if the SD card is full or if batteries are low, as the camera may shorten clips to conserve power.
Date/Time Stamp not appearing on images
Ensure the Time Stamp parameter is set to 'On'.
PIR Sensor LED Flashes/Doesn't Flash
- In TEST mode, the LED flashes to indicate motion for setup purposes.
- During use, the LED does not flash when an image is taken to keep the camera hidden.
Camera won't retain settings
Ensure you save changes by pressing OK after adjusting settings in Setup mode.
Moisture or Ants inside Camera
- Ensure the DC In plug is firmly secured to prevent moisture entry.
