Before Use
Handling
The refrigerator is equipped with two handles for transport. At least two people are required for carrying. Do not use the lid latch to move the refrigerator.
Ideal Location
To reduce energy consumption and ensure proper operation, place the refrigerator:
- In a clean, dry, and rain-free location.
- With adequate ventilation, allowing at least 50 mm of space on all sides.
- On a stable, level surface with an inclination of less than 30° to avoid triggering the anti-tip protection.
- Away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and flames.
- In areas free from high levels of gas or smoke.
- Avoid placing on carpets, as they can absorb condensation and lead to mold.
Tip: If the anti-tip protection is triggered, return the refrigerator to an upright position. The protection will reset after 1 minute.
Getting Started
Connect Power
From a Wall Outlet
Connect the refrigerator's input port to a wall outlet using the included AC power adapter. Use a dedicated outlet.
From the Connected Battery
The refrigerator can be powered by the EcoFlow GLACIER Plug-in Battery.
Install the Plug-in Battery
Note: Read the battery's user manual carefully before installation.
- Open the refrigerator's battery compartment cover.
- Insert the battery with the interface and button facing outwards (button in the top-right corner).
- The battery is connected successfully when the battery icon appears on the refrigerator's display.
Note: When powered by an external source and a battery is connected, the external source will be used for cooling first, and any surplus will charge the battery.
Remove the Plug-in Battery
- Open the refrigerator's battery compartment cover.
- Press the battery removal button.
- Remove the battery.
- Close the battery compartment cover.
From Solar Power
With the battery connected, use an EcoFlow Solar to XT60i charging cable to connect a solar panel to the refrigerator's input port.
Note:
- The solar charging cable and solar panel are not included.
- The battery must remain connected when using solar power.
- Ensure the solar panel's output voltage is within 30V to avoid damaging the refrigerator.
From a Cigarette Lighter Socket
Connection
Connect the refrigerator's input port to the vehicle's cigarette lighter socket using the included car charging cable.
Car Battery Protection
The refrigerator features car battery protection to prevent over-discharging. This function has three levels: "Low," "Medium," and "High." The protection is strongest at "High" and consumes more power from the car battery at "Low." The function can be activated/deactivated and adjusted via the EcoFlow app.
Note:
- Car battery protection is set to "Medium" by default.
- It is recommended to set the car battery protection to "Medium" or "High" to prevent ignition failure.
The three levels of protection correspond to different cut-off and operating voltages:
Low | Medium | High | ||
12V Car Battery | Cut-off Voltage | 10.1 V | 11.2 V | 11.8 V |
Operating Voltage | 11.4 V | 12.2 V | 12.6 V | |
24V Car Battery | Cut-off Voltage | 21.5 V | 24.1 V | 24.6 V |
Operating Voltage | 23 V | 25.3 V | 26.2 V |
When the refrigerator is not connected to a plug-in battery, it will automatically shut off if the car battery voltage drops below the cut-off voltage. It will resume operation once the voltage returns to the operating level.
When connected to a plug-in battery, the refrigerator will switch to battery power if the car battery voltage drops below the cut-off voltage, preventing automatic shutdown.
Note: If powering the refrigerator from a power station's cigarette lighter port or a solar panel, and the power source is not functioning correctly, disable the car battery protection feature via the EcoFlow app and try again.
Open the Lid
The refrigerator is equipped with two lid latches and allows opening from either side. Press both lid latches simultaneously and lift the lid upwards to remove it.
Note: Ensure the lid is oriented correctly when repositioning it.
Power On/Off
- Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button for approximately 2 seconds.
- Display Off: When the refrigerator is on, short press the power button to turn off the display.
- Display On: Press any button to activate the display when the refrigerator is on.
Note:
- If no battery is connected, the refrigerator will automatically turn on when connected to any power source.

After the refrigerator is turned on, the display shows the real-time temperatures of both zones. Press the adjustment button once to enter the temperature setting for the left zone (digits will flash). Press again to adjust. Press and hold for rapid adjustment. Press the settings button once while adjusting to switch between zones.
Note:
