Bambu Lab A1 Quick Start Guide
Please read this guide carefully before use. Caution: Connect the power only after assembly is complete.

Accessory Box Contents
The accessory box contains:
- De-clogging Tool
- Hexagon Wrench H2
- Hexagon Wrench H1.5
- Nozzle Wiper
- Cable Management Tool
- Scraper Blade
- Filament Cutter (x2, replacement)
- Grease
- Anti-vibration Feet
- BT2.6-8 Screw (x2) for Scraper
- M3-12 Screw (x1) for Wiper
- ST3-23 Screw (x13) for Base
Installing the Build Plate
Step 1: Install the build plate in the correct position as shown in the diagram.
Unlocking the Heatbed
Step 1: Rotate the base 90 degrees and stand it up with the screen facing upwards as shown.
Step 2: Remove the four screws using the H2 wrench as shown.
(Be careful not to tip over or drop the base. Use the included cushioning material.)
Attaching the Base and Frame
Step 1: Stand the frame upright.
Step 2: Tilt the base and pass it through the frame. Ensure the base's screen and tool head are on the same side of the frame.
Step 3: Align the slots on the base with the frame and gently lay it flat.
Removing the Tool Head
Step 1: Cut the zip ties and remove the cardboard.
Step 2: Remove any other cushioning material.
Removing the Y-axis Cover
Step 1: Move the heatbed to the end.
Step 2: Lift the Y-axis cover slightly and slide it off.
Securing the Base
Step 1: Secure the base using the included ST3-23 screws (10 locations).
Step 2: Slide the heatbed to the opposite side.
Step 1: Secure the base to the frame with ST3-23 screws.
Reattaching the Y-axis Cover
Step 1: Slide the heatbed towards the panel.
Step 2: Reattach the Y-axis cover.
Step 3: Carefully check that the tabs are properly engaged and there are no misalignments.
Placing the Printer on the Work Surface
Step 1: Place the printer so that the bottom of the base is visible, as shown in the diagram.
Connecting the Cables
Step 1: Align the lock on the cable head with the corresponding slot on the base and insert it.
Step 2: Slide the cable head and insert the USB-C plug.
Step 3: Secure the cable head with the screw.
(Confirm that the base and the flat surface are flush.)
Step 1: Match the colors and insert the corresponding cables into the slots.
Step 2: After connecting all cables, close the cover.
Rotating the Touchscreen
Step 1: Rotate the touchscreen to face forward.
Installing the Wiper Assembly
Step 1: Slide the wiper into its designated position.
Step 2: Secure with the M3-12 screw.
Powering On
Step 1: Turn on the power.
Ensure sufficient space in the direction of movement for safe bed movement. (545mm)
Network Settings
Step 1: Follow the initialization process and select WLAN as shown in the diagram.
Step 2: Select the SSID you intend to use.
Step 3: Enter the password.
Linking the Printer to Your Account
Step 1: Sign in to your Bambu Account using the Bambu Handy app.
Step 2: Scan the QR code on the printer with the app to link the printer.
Step 3: Complete the linking process according to the app's instructions.

Scan with Bambu Handy and sign in. This step allows you to print from your phone or computer.

Set printer name

1. Only printers on the same LAN can be detected.
2. 2.4G Wifi only.
Installing the Spool (External)
Step 1: Assemble the spool holder.
Step 2: Connect the PTFE tube to the filament hub and connector on the main unit.
Step 3: Attach the cable management tool to organize the cables and tube.
Step 4: Hang the spool on the external spool holder and insert the filament.
Let's Start Printing!
Step 1: Select "File" to list the built-in data.
Step 2: Select the model you want to print.
Step 3: If using AMS, select "Use AMS". You can also enable/disable other necessary functions.
