ASSEMBLY STEPS
STEP 1: Mount to Ceiling
Choose installation based on your ceiling type:
OPTION A: Wood Ceiling
Using the ceiling template (C), mark the exact location of mounting holes. Drill pilot holes 2.2 inches (55mm) deep using a 4.5mm (3/16") drill bit. Insert two screws (W-A), leaving a 5mm gap from the ceiling. Hang the ceiling mount so that the screws fit into the keyhole openings. Slide the mount backward, then secure using additional screws (W-A) with washers (W-C).
Note: If mounting to a wood beam ceiling, ensure the front and back holes are used for the main support if the mount is in line with the beam. If perpendicular to the beam, use keyhole openings for the main support. Do NOT use included concrete anchors (W-B) for wood or drywall.
OPTION B: Concrete Ceiling
Using the ceiling template (C), mark the exact location of mounting holes. Drill pilot holes 2.4 inches (60mm) deep, using a 10mm (3/8") drill bit. Insert six concrete anchors (W-B), then tighten two screws (W-A), leaving a 5mm gap from the ceiling. Hang the ceiling mount so that the screws fit into the keyhole openings. Slide the mount backward, then secure using additional screws (W-A) with washers (W-C). Tighten all screws.
STEP 2: Attach VESA Plate to TV
Remove the two bottom screws from the VESA plate (B) and set them aside for later use.
OPTIONAL: For TVs with VESA patterns larger than 200mm x 200mm
Remove the screws from the VESA adapters (E, F). Align the VESA adapters with the VESA plate and assemble, using screws previously removed from the VESA adapters.
OPTION A: Flat Back TV
Align the VESA plate with the mounting holes on the back of the TV screen. Install the VESA plate to the TV using appropriate screws and washers according to your screen type. Ensure the "TOP" indicator on the VESA plate is oriented correctly.
OPTION B: Curved/Recessed Back TV
Align the VESA plate with the mounting holes on the back of the TV screen. Install the VESA plate to the TV using appropriate screws and washers according to your screen type. Ensure the "TOP" indicator on the VESA plate is oriented correctly.
STEP 3: Mount TV Assembly to Ceiling Mount
Place the VESA plate assembly onto the ceiling mount (A) by inserting the attached screw on the VESA plate into the ceiling mount (A) keyhole.
Using the screws previously removed (from the beginning of step 2), fasten the VESA plate to the ceiling mount.
Ensure a clearance of no less than 15mm between the ceiling and the top edge of the TV when the TV is in the fully lowered position.
STEP 4: Cable Management
Run cables along the edge of the mount. Allow slack in the cables for arm movement. Place covers over the cables and snap them into place. Use cable ties (I) to fasten the cables securely.
NOTE: Keep cables clear from the moving arm to avoid damage due to pinching.
STEP 5: Connect Power
Plug the power adapter (G) into the mount, and connect it to an AC outlet.
NOTE: Plugging the power supply into the AC outlet prior to connecting it to the mount may cause a large spark. Do not open the electrical cover.
