How does it work
The No Touch+ thermometer makes temperature taking easier, faster, and stress-free.
The unique dual technology allows temperature measurement in two ways: by placing the thermometer on the forehead (touch mode) or by holding it in front of the forehead without contact (no-touch mode).
Designed for the whole family, the no-touch mode is ideal for conveniently monitoring temperature without disturbing a child, while the touch mode offers comfortable self-measurement.
AgeSmart Technology
The AgeSmart technology provides age-adjustable fever guidance, removing the guesswork from interpreting temperature for the whole family.
Clinical research indicates that the definition of fever changes with a child's age. Many parents and guardians are unaware of this. To help them interpret a child's temperature at first sight, Braun offers unique AgeSmart technology.
Simply select your child's age, and the color-coded display helps you understand the results and act accordingly: green (normal temperature), yellow (moderate fever), and red (high fever).

How to Use
Taking an Individual's Temperature
- Remove protective cap.
- Press power button.
- Set age range (0-3 Months, 3-36 Months, 36+ Months).
- Position the thermometer:
- No-Touch Mode: Position up to 2.5 cm (1 inch) away from the forehead. The yellow guidance light ? will show where you are aiming.
- Touch Mode: Place the thermometer between the eyebrows and hold on the forehead.
- Press the temperature button.
- Read temperature on the display.
Visual Aid Description: The process involves removing a cap, pressing a power button, selecting an age group, positioning the thermometer (either close to or touching the forehead), pressing the measurement button, and reading the result. A yellow light guides aiming in no-touch mode.
Taking Food & Bath Temperature
- Press the food and bath button. A water drop icon ? appears on the display.
- Position the thermometer up to 6.35 cm (2.5 inches) from the food or bath water. Do not submerge.
- Aim directly at the food or bath water. Avoid direct steam, as it can affect readings. Do not aim at the sides of the container.
Visual Aid Description: The thermometer is used to measure the temperature of liquids or food by holding it near the surface, indicated by a water drop icon on the screen.
Temperature Taking Hints
- Allow the thermometer and the person being measured to acclimate to the room temperature for at least 10 minutes before taking a measurement.
- The individual being measured should be indoors for 30 minutes before taking a measurement.
- External temperature can impact skin temperature readings.
- Practice taking temperatures on yourself to determine your normal temperature range.

Fever is defined as a body temperature consistently above your normal temperature range. It is a defense mechanism the body uses to fight infections. Fever itself is a symptom, not an illness.
