Samsung "Always One Step Ahead" Promotion Terms and Conditions

1. Organizer of the Promotion

The organizer of the "Always One Step Ahead" Samsung Promotion (hereinafter referred to as the "Promotion") on Samsung Webáruház and the Samsung Shop App is Samsung Electronics Magyar Zártkörűen Működő Részvénytársaság. For contact and address details, please visit: Samsung Support Email.

Purchases made directly through Samsung's own webshop (https://www.samsung.com/hu) and the Samsung Shop App are subject to the general terms and conditions found at: Samsung Hungary e-store T&Cs.

2. Eligibility Requirements

Participation in the promotion is limited to individuals who are at least 18 years old, legally competent, and have a Hungarian residential or registered address. Participants must also meet the following criteria during the promotion period specified in Section 4.1:

• Validate at least one of the discounts specified in Annex 1 of these Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as "Discounts"). These eligible products are referred to as "Promotional Participating Products".
• Make purchases through Samsung's own webshop (https://www.samsung.com/hu) or the Samsung Shop App.

If a participant is a minor (under 18) but legally competent, they can use the discounts with the consent of their legal representative, after verifying the representative's identity.

If a participant is under 18 and legally incompetent, only their legal representative can act on their behalf, after verifying the representative's identity.

3. Subject of the Promotion

The following discounts are available to participants within the framework of this Promotion:

• Device Trade-in Discount (Készülékváltási Kedvezmény)
• Price Discount (Árkedvezmény)
• Device Buy-back Discount (Készülékbeszámítási Kedvezmény)

The percentage-based Price Discount will be deducted from the final consumer price of the Promotional Participating Product.

This promotion is exclusively valid for purchases made on Samsung Webáruház and the Shop App. It cannot be combined with other promotions, price discounts, or special offers. The discounts provided are only valid for direct purchases through the specified Samsung channels. Retailers such as Strong&Unique Kft. (https://www.ses.hu) and BRAVOPHONE Kft. (https://www.sestore.hu) are not participating.

Discounts are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other products.

If a participant cancels a contract for part of the Promotional Participating Products purchased under a special offer, and this cancellation affects their eligibility for a discount, the refund will be processed as if the products were purchased at the original, non-discounted price.

4. Promotion Period

The promotion runs from July 14, 2025, 10:00 AM to July 28, 2025, 09:00 AM, or while stocks of Promotional Participating Products last, or until withdrawn (hereinafter referred to as the "Promotional Period").

Samsung reserves the right to provide the promotion only during the Promotional Period or while stocks last.

5. Device Buy-back Process

The device buy-back service is provided by Foxway OÜ (Estonia) for Samsung Webáruház and the Shop App.

• Participants select an eligible product from Annex 1 on Samsung Webáruház or the Shop App.
• On the product page or before finalizing the order, participants select the "Device Buy-back" option to access the buy-back service portal.
• By selecting and completing the buy-back option, participants automatically receive the Device Buy-back Discount in their cart for the specified products.
• To use the service, participants must select their old device's make, model, and series from a dropdown menu, provide its condition, and enter the device's IMEI or serial number. They must also accept the General Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy.
• Personal data required for the trade-in, including bank account details for the transfer of the old device's value, must be provided during the purchase process.
• Participants will receive an electronic email from Foxway with an indicative offer for their old device and instructions for packaging.
• Within 3-5 business days of receiving the new product, Foxway will collect the old device for inspection. A final offer will be provided, and if accepted, the amount will be transferred within 5 business days. If not accepted, the old device will be returned.
• If the participant does not accept or rejects the final offer within 14 days of receiving it, Foxway will return the old device.

6. Participation in the Device Trade-in Program

Participants can avail of extra discounts by participating in the Device Trade-in Program when purchasing eligible televisions listed in Annex 1.

6.1. How to Apply for the Device Trade-in Program on Samsung Webáruház and Shop App

• Participants select a Promotional Participating Product and navigate to its product page.
• Before adding the product to the cart, they select the "Start" option under the "Device Trade-in Program" on the product page. This opens the Device Trade-in Program page within Samsung Webáruház.
• Following the steps on the Device Trade-in Program page, participants select the "Add" option as the final step. This automatically applies the discount to the promotional device, making them eligible for the discount specified in Annex 1, which will be deducted from the final consumer price.
• To use the device trade-in service on Samsung Webáruház, participants select the size and brand of their old device from a dropdown list. They must then accept the General Terms and Conditions, the Data Processing Policy, and the mandatory retailer information regarding waste management. After this, they submit their request by clicking the "Add" button.
• When entering shipping details, participants select the "Old device collection" option under the "Shipping packages" menu for the Promotional Participating Product.
• Participants hand over the selected old device to the courier at the time of delivery of the new product.

By participating in the Device Trade-in Program, participants acknowledge that the discount received is not a trade-in value for the old device. This is a time-limited offer conditional upon the handover of the old device. The old device cannot be reclaimed after collection and has no trade-in value. If a participant withdraws from the purchase of the Promotional Participating Product for any reason, the old device cannot be returned. Participants must ensure the old device is ready for transport (cables unplugged from the wall, removed from the wall, etc.) at the time of delivery of the new device. Failure to meet these conditions may result in the refusal of the old device collection by the courier. If the participant fails to meet the agreed conditions, the discount obtained during the purchase may be revoked. One old device can be collected per eligible device type (model code).

7. Taxes and Costs

Any tax obligations related to the discounts are borne by the Organizer. The Organizer has no further obligations beyond providing the discounts and settling their tax implications.

8. Personal Data

Information about the Organizer's general data processing activities and data handling related to purchases on Samsung Webáruház and the Shop App can be found at: Samsung Hungary Local Data Protection Information.

The Organizer states that, in addition to the data specified in the Samsung Webáruház and Shop App Data Protection Information, no other personal data will be processed in connection with this promotion.

9. Miscellaneous Provisions

• The Organizer is not liable for any failure or delay in providing the Discounts, or for any damage incurred during the handover process.
• The Organizer reserves the right to modify the terms of the promotion without prior notice, including the termination of the promotion. Any changes will be announced through the same channels as other promotion communications, and modifications will be effective from the date of announcement. Participants can exercise their rights acquired up to the date of modification. Participants are advised to carefully read these terms and conditions, including any modifications, before participating. Participation in the promotion is voluntary. Liability limitations and exclusions related to the promotion apply to the extent permitted by law.
• The Organizer disclaims liability for any external SQL attacks targeting Samsung Webáruház, the Shop App, or their servers. In case of such attacks leading to erroneous system messages for participants regarding the promotion, the Organizer assumes no responsibility.
• The Organizer is not liable for malfunctions of Samsung Webáruház, the Shop App, or the ability to use the Discounts due to reasons beyond its control, during which the website may be unavailable or limited. However, the Organizer will take immediate action to identify and resolve the cause of the malfunction as soon as possible.
• The Organizer reserves the right to immediately exclude any participant suspected of any form of (computer) manipulation, mass generation of email addresses, or behavior that is inconsistent with or violates the spirit of the promotion.
• The Organizer is not responsible for any data loss if a participant closes their browser window before finalizing a purchase or if the connection to the server is interrupted for any reason.
• The Organizer is not liable for erroneous promotion announcements made without its fault or approval.
• In addition to the above, the Organizer is not liable for any non-pecuniary, indirect, or consequential damages, costs, or expenses incurred by the participant or third parties in connection with or arising from these Terms and Conditions, including but not limited to data loss, loss of revenue, loss of profit, lost earnings, or damage to commercial reputation, or claims from third parties.
• Hungarian laws govern these Terms and Conditions, and any legal disputes arising from participation in the promotion shall be exclusively under the jurisdiction of Hungarian courts.
• If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under Hungarian law, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The parties will make every effort to replace the invalid, illegal, or unenforceable provision with a valid, lawful, and enforceable provision that achieves the intended purpose to the greatest extent possible.

Annex 1: Discounts

1. Device Trade-in Discount

If a participant purchases one of the 2025 Samsung televisions listed in the table below from Samsung Webáruház or the Shop App during the Promotional Period and utilizes the Device Trade-in Program, they will be eligible for the Device Trade-in Discount specified in the table, while stocks last or until withdrawn.

The Organizer advises participants that the 1st Discount cannot be combined with other promotions offering a Device Trade-in Discount, such as the promotion titled "SAMSUNG DEVICE TRADE-IN DISCOUNT PROMOTION ON SAMSUNG WEBÁRUHÁZ AND SAMSUNG SHOP APP".

2. Discount

If a participant purchases 2 (two) or more Samsung home appliances available on Samsung Webáruház and the Shop App during the Promotional Period, they will be eligible for a 10% (ten percent) Price Discount on the final consumer price of the Promotional Participating Products, while stocks last or until withdrawn.

3. Device Buy-back Discount

If a participant purchases one of the specified Samsung smartphones, tablets, or smartwatches listed in the table below from Samsung Webáruház or the Shop App during the Promotional Period and wishes to use the Device Buy-back option, they will be eligible for the Device Buy-back Discount specified in the table, while stocks last or until withdrawn.

4. Discount

If a participant purchases 2 (two) data storage devices from Samsung Webáruház or the Shop App during the Promotional Period, they will be eligible for a 10% (ten percent) Price Discount. If they purchase 3 (three) or more data storage devices simultaneously, they will be eligible for a 15% (fifteen percent) Price Discount on the final consumer price of the Promotional Participating Products, while stocks last or until withdrawn.
