Overview
The MINIX U8K-ULTRA is a next-generation AI media hub powered by the Amlogic S928X-K processor. Its dedicated hardware video decoder supports multiple video formats including AV1, VP9, H.265-10, AVS3, and AVS2.
The 8th Generation Advanced Amlogic TruLife Image Engine enhances visuals with Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR, HLG, and HDR Vivid processing. It features independent HDR re-mapping, motion-compensated noise reduction, and a motion-adaptive deinterlacer.
A dedicated hardware NPU enables AI-based picture quality enhancement (AI-PQ) and AI-based resolution upscaling (AI-SR). AI-PQ provides real-time scene detection, while AI-SR offers upscaling of 2X (1080p), 3X (720p), and 4X (480p) content, delivering superior picture quality compared to non-AI media players.
