This USB-C™ Multiport Adapter with DP 1.4 Alt Mode supports 4K 60Hz HDMI® (HDR) and transforms your MacBook, Dell XPS, or other USB-C laptop or tablet into a workspace, wherever you go. The USB Type-C™ Multiport Adapter features a 4K HDMI video output, three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A (5Gbps) ports, and a Gigabit Ethernet port, all through a single connection to your laptop's USB-C, USB4, or Thunderbolt 3/4™ port. Additionally, it offers advanced charging and flexibility through a shared USB-C Power Delivery 3.0 and data port; this port can be used to connect peripherals with USB 2.0 data transfer speeds (480Mbps) when no power source is connected. The multiport adapter features an extra-long integrated, 30 cm host cable for extended reach, providing more flexibility in your setup.
The portable docking station allows you to connect a 4K 60Hz HDMI monitor (4096 x 2160p) or an ultrawide monitor to your laptop, creating a powerful workspace. The USB-C to USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub features three USB-A ports (5Gbps) for connecting your USB devices. A versatile docking solution for use at your desk in the office, home office, or meeting room. It's portable enough to carry in your bag or backpack for mobile use. This lightweight USB-C adapter can be bus-powered. Alternatively, you can connect your laptop's USB-C power adapter to charge your laptop and USB peripherals.
With support for USB Power Delivery 3.0 pass-through (up to 100W), the USB Type-C Multiport Adapter allows you to power and charge your laptop when connected to a USB-C power source. PD 3.0 offers Fast Role Swap (FRS) to prevent USB data interruption when switching power sources (USB-C power adapter to bus power).

Special Notes/Requirements
System and Cable Requirements: A host device with an available USB-C port (to ensure full adapter functionality, the host device's USB-C port must support USB Power Delivery 2.0 and DP Alt Mode).
Optional: USB-C Power Adapter (e.g., your laptop's USB-C power adapter).
Note: Not all USB-C ports support the full functionality of the USB Type-C standard. Ensure your host device's USB-C port supports USB Power Delivery and DP Alt Mode.
The adapter can be connected to a host laptop's USB-C port that does not offer USB Power Delivery support. In this configuration, no pass-through power is available.
A 4K-capable display is required for resolutions of 4096 x 2160p/3840 x 2160p. A 4K-capable computer is required to achieve a resolution of 3840 x 2160p (4K is also known as 4K x 2K).
USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gbps) is also known as USB 3.1 Gen 1 (5Gbps) and USB 3.0 (5Gbps).
Your laptop may have specific charging requirements. For example, if your laptop requires exactly 60W of power and an adapter consumes part of that 60W, your laptop may not recognize that it is receiving sufficient power. Consult your hardware manufacturer for more information on Power Delivery.
