Please Read Before Operating
This air purifier draws in room air, circulates it through a Pre-Filter, Deodorizing Filter, and HEPA Filter, then discharges it. The HEPA Filter removes 99.97% of dust particles as small as 0.3 microns and helps absorb odors. The Deodorizing Filter gradually absorbs odors.
Note: Some absorbed odors may break down over time. If odors persist, replace filters. The purifier is designed for air-suspended dust and odors, not harmful gases like carbon monoxide. It may not remove odors if the source is still present.
Filter System Description: The unit contains a HEPA Filter, a Deodorizing Filter, and a Back Panel (Pre-Filter).
This appliance is intended for indoor domestic use only.
Features
- Unique Combination of Air Treatment Technologies: Filtration System + Plasmacluster
- Traps Dust*: Pre-filter traps dust and other large airborne particles.
- Reduces Odors: Deodorizing filter absorbs many common household odors.
- Reduces Pollen & Mold*: HEPA filter traps 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns.
- Freshens: Plasmacluster treats the air by emitting a balance of positive and negative ions, similar to natural air cleaning.
* When air is drawn through the filter system.

Important Safety Instructions
Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances.
WARNING
Always observe the following to reduce the risk of electrical shock, fire, or injury:
- Read all instructions before using the main unit.
- Use only a 220-240 volt outlet.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless supervised. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, a Sharp authorized Service Center, or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard. Contact the nearest Service Center for problems, adjustments, or repairs.
- Do not repair or disassemble the main unit yourself.
- Always remove the power plug before performing maintenance, removing/attaching/replacing filters, or when not using for a long time. Failure to do so can cause a short circuit, electrical shock, or fire.
- Do not use the main unit if the power cord or plug is damaged or the wall outlet connection is loose.
- Periodically remove dust from the plug.
- Do not insert fingers or foreign objects into the air inlet or air outlet.
- When removing the power plug, always hold the plug and never pull on the cord. Failure to do so can cause a short circuit, electrical shock, or fire.
- Be careful not to damage the power cord. Failure to do so can cause electric shock, heat generation, or fire.
- Do not remove the plug with wet hands.
- Do not use this main unit near gas appliances or fireplaces. If operated with gas appliances in the same room, ventilate periodically to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning.
- Do not operate the main unit in rooms with aerosol insecticides, oily residue, incense, sparks from lit cigarettes, or chemical fumes.
- Keep the main unit away from water. Do not operate in wet places like bathrooms.
- Do not expose the main unit to water, as this can cause a short circuit or electrical shock.
- Be cautious when cleaning. Strong corrosive cleansers can damage the exterior.
NOTE: Radio or TV Interference
If the air purifier interferes with radio or television reception, try the following:
- Adjust or reposition the receiving antenna.
- Increase the distance between the main unit and the radio or TV.
- Connect the equipment to an outlet on a different circuit from the radio or TV receiver.
- Consult the dealer or a qualified radio or TV technician.
Cautions Concerning Operation
- Do not block the air inlet or air outlet.
- Do not place the main unit near or on hot objects (stoves, heaters) or where it may contact steam.
- Always operate the main unit in an upright position.
- Do not move the main unit while it is in operation.
- Use the handle on the back of the main unit when moving it.
- If the main unit is on easily damaged flooring, an uneven surface, or thick-piled carpet, lift it up when moving.
- Do not operate the main unit without filters properly installed.
- Do not wash and reuse the HEPA filter and Deodorizing filter. This will not improve performance and can cause electric shock or malfunctions.
- Clean the exterior with a soft cloth only. Do not use volatile fluids or detergents (Benzine, paint thinner, polishing powder) as they may damage the surface.
- Do not scrub the Back Panel hard during maintenance.
Installation Guidelines
- Avoid locations where furniture, fabrics, or other objects can contact the unit and interfere with air intake/outtake.
- Avoid locations exposed to condensation or drastic temperature changes. Recommended room temperature: 0–35 °C.
- Place the main unit on a level, stable surface with sufficient air circulation. It may vibrate slightly on heavy carpet.
- Avoid locations that generate grease or oily smoke, as this can crack the unit's exterior.
- The unit's dust collecting ability is effective even when placed close to a wall (approx. 3 cm). However, surrounding walls and floor may get dirty. Place the unit at a distance from the wall. The wall behind the air outlet may become dirty over time. Periodically clean adjacent walls when using the unit in the same location for extended periods.
Filter Guidelines
Follow the instructions in this manual for proper filter care and maintenance (Page 4).
Care and Maintenance
Always be sure to remove the power plug from the wall outlet before any maintenance.
Back Panel (Pre-filter)
Gently remove dust from the Back Panel using a vacuum cleaner attachment or similar tool.
CAUTION: Do not apply excessive pressure when scrubbing the Back Panel.
How to clean hard-to-remove dirt:
- Add a small amount of kitchen detergent to water and soak for about 10 minutes.
- Rinse off the kitchen detergent with clean water.
- Completely dry the filter in a well-ventilated area.
Filters (HEPA Filter, Deodorizing Filter)
Gently remove dust from the HEPA FILTER and Deodorizing Filter with a vacuum cleaner attachment or similar tool.
CAUTION: Do not wash in water and dry in the sun. Filters are fragile; be careful not to apply too much force.
- HEPA Filter: Apply maintenance only on the side with the tag. Do not clean the opposite side, as the filter will be damaged.
- Deodorizing Filter: Maintenance can be applied to both sides.
Main Unit
Wipe with a dry, soft cloth. For stubborn stains or dirt, use a soft cloth dampened with warm water.
CAUTION:
- Do not use volatile fluids (Benzene, paint thinner, polishing powder, etc.) as they may damage the surface.
- Do not use detergents, as detergent ingredients may damage the main unit.
Replacement
Always be sure to remove the power plug from the wall outlet.
Filters
Replacement Timing:
When the Replace Filter Indicator light turns on*.

Do Not Wash and Reuse the Filter:
Filter life and replacement period are based on conditions like smoking 5 cigarettes per day. Filter life varies by room environment, usage, and location. Replace filters more frequently if used in conditions significantly more severe than normal household use.
- Consult your dealer for replacement filter purchase.
- Use only filters designed for this product.
Disposal of Filter:
Dispose of replaced filters according to local disposal laws and regulations.
- HEPA Filter: Filter - Polypropylene, Frame - Polyester
