Crucial Warning: The external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged, the entire luminaire must be destroyed and discarded. Do not attempt to repair or replace the cord.

Before You Begin

Parts Included:
- 1x Lamp rod
- 1x Base plate
- 3x Fasteners
Familiarize yourself with all parts before starting assembly. If you encounter issues, please refer to IKEA for assistance.
Assembly Steps
Step 1: Attach Rod to Base
Insert the threaded end of the lamp rod into the base. Rotate the rod clockwise until it is securely fastened.
Step 2: Feed Power Cord
Carefully guide the power cord through the lamp rod and the central opening of the base plate. Ensure the cord remains untwisted.
Step 3: Connect Cord to Base
Connect the power cord to the terminal block located inside the base. Follow the diagram for correct wire placement. Ensure all connections are secure.
Step 4: Secure Base Plate
Attach the base plate to the bottom of the lamp's base using the provided adhesive pads. Press firmly to ensure adhesion.
Step 5: Mount Socket Assembly
Align the lamp socket assembly with the top of the lamp rod. Screw the assembly onto the rod clockwise until it is snug and stable.
Step 6: Attach Lampshade
Place the lampshade over the socket assembly. Align the shade's support structure with the mounting points on the socket assembly and gently press down to secure it.
Step 7: Connect Internal Wiring
Connect the internal wiring as shown in the diagram. There are three wire connections to be made. Ensure each wire is properly seated in its terminal.
Step 8: Insert Light Bulb
Insert a suitable light bulb (not included) into the socket. Screw the bulb in clockwise until it is firm. Do not overtighten.
Step 9: Secure Lampshade
From underneath the lampshade, tighten the retaining ring or fasteners to secure the lampshade in place. Rotate the ring clockwise to tighten.
Final Check
Ensure all parts are securely assembled and the lamp is stable. The lamp is now ready for use. The socket assembly may feature a rotating mechanism for power or brightness control.
