Instruction Manual
Introduction
This document provides instructions for Datalogic's CODiScan accessories, specifically the Hand Trigger and Lanyard, designed to enhance the user experience with the CODiScan HS7600 barcode scanner.
The CODiScan HS7600 can be used in standalone mode or in conjunction with these accessories for extended user comfort.
CODiScan Accessories Overview
The following accessories are available:
- HT1-HS7600KR: Adjustable Right Hand Trigger
- HT1-HS7600KL: Adjustable Left Hand Trigger
- LH-HS7600: Extensible Lanyard for Neck and Belt
Note: The adjustable hand trigger has different part numbers for right- and left-handed users. Choose the part number that best suits your needs.

Parts of the Glove
The hand trigger glove consists of the following parts:
- a) Adjustable Straps: For fitting the glove to the hand.
- b) Trigger: The button used to activate the scanner.
- c) Holder: Component that secures the scanner.
- d) Closing strap: Secures the glove onto the hand.
- e) Washable Fabric: The main body of the glove.
Wearing the Hand Trigger
Before wearing the hand trigger, ensure you have selected the correct part number for your dominant hand (right or left).
To wear the hand trigger:
- Place the hand trigger on top of your hand. While holding the trigger in place with your thumb, fasten it using the closing strap.
- Adjust the size to comfortably fit your hand using the adjustable straps.
- Adjust the position of the trigger to ensure it is easily reachable by your thumb.
Note: After the initial fitting, use only the closing strap to wear the hand trigger.
Using the Hand Trigger
When reading a barcode:
- Press lightly to activate the aiming system (visualized as a crosshair).
- Press fully to activate the reading function.

Maintenance and Disposal
The electronic parts are detachable from the fabric to allow for:
- Washing or changing the fabric.
- Changing the trigger.
- Disposing of the different parts.
WARNING: Remove the trigger and the electronic parts before washing the fabric.

Note: Wash the fabric parts at 30°C and air dry.

Lanyard
The LH-HS7600 extensible lanyard can be used in two ways:
- Worn around the neck.
- Attached to a pocket or a belt by detaching the lanyard from the retractable reel.
The lanyard can be extended for ease of use, featuring a retractable reel mechanism.
The LH-HS7600 extensible lanyard also includes a safety clip on the back side for secure attachment.
The portable holder can be associated with a type-C USB cable (part number 94A050044, not included) and/or the power supply (part number 94ACC0196) for charging, firmware updates, and device configuration.
Removing the Device from the Portable Holder
To remove the device from the portable holder:
- Push the device with your thumb.
- Use your other hand to support the device and prevent it from falling.
Note: Push with your thumb perpendicular to the device, as shown in the illustration. Do not push diagonally.
