Controls and Functions
The FBQ1000 features several controls for managing feedback and EQ:
- LED METER: Displays the output signal level. If the CLIP LED lights frequently, lower the gain. In Total Bypass mode, it shows the input signal level.
- ENGINE L/R Buttons: Select the left (L) or right (R) audio channels. Pressing both simultaneously enters 'Couple' mode for simultaneous editing of both channels.
- STATUS LEDs: Indicate the status of the 12 individual filters per channel. Lit LEDs show active filters/EQs. Flashing LEDs indicate a filter is searching for feedback frequencies. Unlit LEDs indicate inactive filters.
- JOG WHEEL: Scrolls through presets and adjusts parameter values.
- FINE Button: Enables the JOG WHEEL to fine-tune standard ISO frequencies.
- FILTER SELECT Button: Used with the JOG WHEEL to select one of the 12 filters per channel for editing.
- FILTER MODE Button: Cycles through filter modes: Off (OF), Parametric EQ (PA), Single-Shot (SI), and Auto (AU).
- STORE Button: Enables the JOG WHEEL to scroll through 10 preset slots. Press again to confirm and save the selected preset.
