U2-AIR Pro Functionality User Guide
1. How to connect U2Air Pro to use wireless CarPlay?
- Please ensure your phone's Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled.
- Connect the U2Air Pro to the USB port. The device name, typically starting with "AUTO", should appear. Pair your phone's Bluetooth with this device. You may need to enable CarPlay on your car's dashboard first.
- After establishing the connection, allow any pop-up prompts. Your phone is now successfully connected to U2Air Pro.

2. Will it work for my car?
This device is compatible with cars that support wired Apple CarPlay.
3. Will it work for my phone?
This device supports iPhone iOS 10 and later.
4. Indication of LED light
- Connecting: Blue light flashing
- Connected: Blue light steady on
- While upgrading: Lights alternate red and blue
- Upgrade completed: White light steady on
- Upgrade failed: Red light flashes
5. How to update the firmware?
- Method 1
Tap 'Firmware Update' within the associated application. - Method 2
If your iPhone is connected to wireless CarPlay, open your iPhone's browser and navigate to http://192.168.1.101. Tap 'Update' if a new version is available. - If your phone is not connected to wireless CarPlay, turn on WLAN and find the Wi-Fi network named 'AUTO-'. Connect to it using the password '88888888'. Once connected, open http://192.168.1.101 in your browser. Look for the 'Update' option and click it to upgrade your device if an update is available.

6. How to report a log?
- Method 1
Tap 'Report Log' within the associated application. - Method 2
If your phone is connected to wireless CarPlay, go to http://192.168.1.101 in your browser. Enter your car model, year, and a description of the issue. Click 'Submit'. After submitting, take a screenshot and email it to support@ottocast.com for faster problem resolution.

If your phone is not connected to wireless CarPlay, turn on WLAN and find the Wi-Fi network named 'AUTO-', then connect with password 88888888. After successful connection, open http://192.168.1.101 and enter your car model, year, and the problem. Click Submit. After submission, take a screenshot and send it via email to support@ottocast.com so that the issue can be resolved more quickly.
7. How to reset your device?
- Method 1
Follow steps 1-4 from the 'Firmware update' section on the previous page. Then, enter 192.168.1.101 in your browser to reset the device.

Press and hold the smart button for 10 seconds.
8. How to use the smart button?
- A short press (0.5s) disconnects from the current mobile phone, allowing connection to a second phone.
- Pressing and holding for 10 seconds resets the device. The white light will flash. Wait 2-3 seconds, then reconnect the box. The reset process is then complete.
