Installation Guide
The following steps detail the installation process. Ensure you have all parts listed before starting.
Step 01: Language Selection
Choose the appropriate language for installation instructions.
Step 02: Mounting the Sensor Unit
Attach the sensor unit [01] to the mounting bracket. This typically involves using screws [A] and wall plugs [A] if mounting into a wall.
Step 03: Wiring Connections
Connect the wires to the terminal block. Identify the terminals for Live (L), Neutral (N), and the switched Live output (Lout).
Step 04: Preparing Mounting Holes
Use a Ø6 mm drill bit to create mounting holes in the wall. Insert wall plugs [A] into the prepared holes.
Step 05: Securing the Main Unit
Attach the main unit to the wall using screws [B] and the previously inserted wall plugs [A]. Ensure the unit is securely fastened.
Step 06: Final Wiring Connections
Complete the electrical connections to the terminal block, ensuring all wires are correctly seated and secured.
Step 07: Wire Identification
Refer to the colour coding for wiring: Typically, L (Live) is Brown or Red, and N (Neutral) is Blue or Black.
Step 08: Attaching the Sensor Housing
Connect the sensor housing to the main unit. This may involve aligning and clicking components into place.
Step 09: Angle Adjustments and IP Rating
The unit has an IP44 rating, meaning it is protected against splashing water. The sensor can be adjusted for detection angles, typically up to ≤30° vertically and 55° horizontally. Ensure the detection angles are set appropriately for the desired coverage.
Step 10: Powering On
Switch the power ON using the appropriate switch. The indicator lights will show the status.
Step 01 (Usage): Timer Adjustment
Adjust the 'TIME' dial to set the duration the light stays on after motion is detected. Options range from approximately 10 seconds to 4 minutes.
Step 02 (Usage): Sensor Sensitivity Adjustment
Adjust the 'SENS' dial to set the sensitivity of the motion sensor. This determines how easily the sensor detects movement. The diagram shows detection ranges from 1.8-2.5 meters up to 6 meters or 12 meters depending on the setting.
Step 03 (Usage): Lux (Light Sensitivity) Adjustment
Adjust the 'LUX' dial to set the ambient light level at which the sensor activates. Setting it towards the sun symbol (☀️) means it will only activate in low light or darkness. Setting it towards the moon symbol (?) means it will activate even in daylight.
Step 04 (Usage): Detection Range and Angle
This section illustrates the detection range and angle of the motion sensor. It typically covers a range of 1.8-2.5 meters in height and can detect motion up to 12 meters away, with a detection angle of 180°.
Step 05 (Usage): Activating Sensor Override Mode
To activate the sensor override mode (manual ON/OFF), turn the light switch OFF and then ON within approximately 3 seconds. The light will remain ON.
Step 06 (Usage): Deactivating Sensor Override Mode
To deactivate the sensor override mode and return to automatic operation, turn the light switch OFF and then ON again after more than 5 seconds. The sensor will revert to its automatic detection mode.
Step 01 (Care): Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance are recommended to keep the surface in good condition. Avoid using harsh cleaning agents or abrasive materials that could damage the product's finish.
