Connecting Your CASO Product to the CASO App
This quick guide explains how to connect your CASO product to the CASO app, enabling you to control the product remotely.
Important: You will need a stable Wi-Fi network for setup. This network should remain active after setup to maintain the connection to your CASO product.
Setup Steps:

Download the CASO app from your app store and set up a CASO account.

Switch on your CASO product completely.

Open the CASO app and press the "Add device" button.

Press the pairing button combination on your CASO product as indicated in the CASO app. Typically, this involves pressing the Power and Light buttons simultaneously until the CASO product beeps.

Release the buttons as soon as you hear the beeping sound. After approximately 5-10 seconds, a four-digit code (pairing code) will appear on the device's display. This code is displayed for 3 minutes. You can remove the pairing code from the display at any time by pressing the "Light" button.
Example pairing code display: A four-digit hexadecimal code (e.g., A1B2) will be shown.

In the CASO app, click "Continue". The app will then begin searching for new CASO products. If no new product is found, a "No new devices found" notification will appear. Confirm by clicking "OK" and repeat the steps starting from Step 3.

Select your new CASO product in the CASO app. You will be prompted to enter the pairing code (the 4-digit code shown on the device's display). Note that this is a hexadecimal code; only characters 0-9 and a-f (case-insensitive) are valid.

Select your Wi-Fi network:
- Network name (SSID)
- Password (pre-shared key)
Important: Connections are only supported for 2.4 GHz (802.11n) networks.

After transmitting your Wi-Fi data to the CASO product, it will be assigned to your account. The outcome is stored in the CASO cloud, ensuring your data is not lost even after re-installation. This process may take up to 2 minutes.
The CASO product will restart automatically upon completion.
Note: The time it takes for device data to appear in the CASO app may vary depending on connection quality.
