Control Studio DMX via Art-Net or sACN Input

To control Studio DMX, you must create a Pro DMX 2 patch with all the fixtures you intend to visualize in the 3D environment. Refer to the Pro DMX 2 manuals for detailed instructions.

Once the patching is complete, launch Studio DMX and navigate to the 3D view by clicking on "Tools" and then "3D".

The software interface displays a 3D representation of a stage setup, with controls for DMX levels, mute, and various fixture types. The interface also includes options for managing presets, cursors, and timelines.

Refer to the Studio DMX manual to create your show.

Troubleshooting

If your fixtures are not appearing in Studio DMX after patching in Pro DMX 2, check the Network settings:

The Network options dialog allows configuration of various network interfaces (Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Localhost) and protocols (MIDI, Art-Net, sACN). It also includes settings for the "Smartphones server" and UDP ports.

If Art-Net or sACN signals are not received in Pro DMX 2, verify your firewall settings to ensure the following UDP ports are allowed:
