Quick Setup & Operation
The Aquilon C+ uses standard Ethernet LAN networking. To access the Web RCS:
- Connect a computer to the Aquilon C+ using the Ethernet cable.
- Open an internet browser (Google Chrome recommended) on the computer.
- Enter the IP address of the Aquilon C+ displayed on the front panel screen (default: 192.168.2.140).
Note on IP Configuration: Computers often use DHCP client mode. You may need to configure your computer's LAN network adaptor with a static IP address. The default Aquilon C+ IP is 192.168.2.140 with a netmask of 255.255.255.0. Assign your computer a static IP of 192.168.2.100 with the same netmask to connect.
If the connection is not starting:
- Ensure the computer's IP address is on the same network and subnet as the Aquilon C+.
- Verify that both devices do not have the same IP address to prevent conflicts.
- Check your network cable. Use a crossover Ethernet cable for direct connection between the Aquilon C+ and the computer. Use straight Ethernet cables if a hub or switch is involved.
- For more information, refer to the User Manual or contact Analog Way Technical Support.
CAUTION
⚠️ The use of rear rack support slide rails for all rack-mounted applications is highly recommended. Damage caused by improper rack mounting will not be covered under warranty.
