Installation Guide

Important: To avoid software conflicts, please uninstall any previously installed third-party Bluetooth drivers or management software on your computer before installing this Bluetooth driver software. The default Bluetooth drivers provided by Microsoft Windows offer limited functionality. While they install automatically when the USB adapter is inserted, you must install the full driver software from the CD to access complete functionality and support for additional Bluetooth profiles.

Installing Drivers from the CD

1. Connect the Bluetooth adapter to your computer. 2. Open the CD drive in Windows Explorer. 3. Navigate to the 'Windows' folder within the CD. 4. Run the Setup.exe file to begin the installation.

The InstallShield Wizard will launch, guiding you through the installation of the REALTEK Bluetooth Driver. Click Next to proceed with the default settings.

Windows Security Prompt: If a Windows Security warning appears during installation, indicating a driver from 'Realtek Semiconductor Corp.', check the box to 'Always trust software from "Realtek Semiconductor Corp."' and click Install. A computer restart is required to finalize the installation.

Upon successful installation, the 'Realtek Bluetooth 5.3 Adapter' will be visible and listed under Device Manager.

Pairing Your Devices

After the driver installation is complete, the Bluetooth icon should appear in your system tray (notification area). Right-click this icon and select 'Add a Bluetooth Device' from the context menu to begin pairing.

Pairing a Device (Windows 10 Example)

In Windows 10, a screen will appear prompting you to pair a device. Locate your desired Bluetooth device in the list and click the Pair button.

Pairing a Device (Windows 7 Example)

Windows 7 users will see a similar pairing screen. Select the device you wish to connect and click Next.

Troubleshooting: Device Not Appearing

If your Bluetooth device does not automatically appear in the list of available devices, click the '+ Add Bluetooth or Other Device' button, typically located at the top of the Settings window, to manually initiate the search and pairing process.
