Product Description
The KURV-RGBW is a fully encapsulated flexible linear LED fixture designed for applications requiring both color and white light from the same LED. It features a built-in parabolic curve that enables asymmetrical light distribution via an internal reflector. Its dry and wet ratings make it suitable for indoor accent lighting and visible outdoor applications. The fixture encapsulates 24-volt dynamic color RGBW LED strips within polyurethane.
Available in Standard Output [SO] with a total load of 6.0W/ft, it offers colors including red, green, and blue, along with white light at color temperatures of 2700K and 3000K. The KURV-RGBW is offered in a clear finish, showcasing visible diodes, or a translucent finish for diffused light.

Wiring Detail
Wiring is provided in 4-inch increments from 4 inches to 191 inches. The wiring configuration includes:
- LEAD WIRE: Typically 24 inches [BW].
- Color Coding: Blue = Blue, Red = Red, Green = Green, White = White, Black = +24V.
- Connector/Wire In: Standard configuration is type S1, Connector/Wire In: BW.
- Connector/Wire Out: Standard configuration is N/A.
- End Caps: Standard configuration uses white endcaps [WH].
Note: BW [Bare Wire] comes in standard 24" length; custom lengths up to 120" can be requested by specifying the length in inches next to "BW" in the order code (e.g., BW48).

Mounting Options
Q-Tran offers various mounting solutions for the KURV-RGBW fixtures, designed for indoor and outdoor use. 2 white snug clips are provided per first 12 inches of fixture, and 1 for each additional 12 inches. Other mounting styles may incur additional charges.
White Snug Clip [WSC]
Description: For indoor/outdoor use, surface mounting [⬆️], stainless steel/corrosion resistant, discrete mounting [•], white glossy finish.
Dimensions: 0.81" [width] x 0.37" [height] x 0.75" [length].
Hardware: #6 flat screw [provided], 832 Silicone [sold separately].
Rigid Lock Channel [RLC]
Description: For indoor/outdoor use, heavy-duty surface mounting [⬆️], stainless steel/corrosion resistant, vandal resistant ?️, retainer clip provided, white glossy finish.
Dimensions: 1.0" [width] x 0.84" [height] x 1.0" [length].

Magnetic Clip [MC]

Mounting Accessories
Q-ANGLE
Description: Allows for offset lighting to illuminate signs, artwork [?️], etc. Suitable for indoor/outdoor use. Can be wall [?], ceiling [☁️], or floor mounted [➖]. Made of anodized aluminum/corrosion resistant. Features a free-moving rotating head [?] that can be locked into specific angles [?] with preset dial notches [⚙️] for easy adjustments from 90° to 270°.
Mounting: Requires Rigid Lock Channel. Must be mounted every 12 inches.
Hardware: Rigid lock channel, 6-32 Fillister head screw, 4-40 Flat head screw, Drywall anchor [not provided], #6-1 ½" wood screw.

Lens Options
- ENC/CL [Clear]: Encapsulated in clear, LEDs visible [?️].
- ENC/TL [Translucent]: Encapsulated in translucent, diode free [?].
Connector Types
Bare Wire [BW]: Standard 24" length, Belden wire 22 AWG, outdoor rated [?️].
Connector Types:
- Single [Input only]: S1, S2, S3, S4. These connectors have a single point of entry for power.
- Pass Through [Input/Output]: P1, P2, P3, P4. These connectors allow power to enter and exit the fixture.
A diagram illustrates the different connector types [S1-S4, P1-P4] and their configurations, including end caps [no feed/with feed] and their respective dimensions.
- End Caps [No Feed]: Clear [CL] and White [WH] options are available. CL adds 0.0" and WH adds 0.10" to the fixture length.
- End Caps [With Feed]: White endcaps are available for end feed [S1, P1] and tri-directional [S2, S3, S4, P2, P3, P4] configurations, adding different lengths and dim spots.
Installation Guide
General Notes:
- White snug clips should be placed every 12 inches.
- Magnetic clips should be placed every 12 inches.
- Rigid lock channels should be placed every 12 inches.
- Side graze channels should be placed every 12 inches.
White Snug Clip Installation
- Mount the white snug clip using the provided #6x5/8" flat head screw.
- Align the fixture to the white snug clips, matching distances.
- Press the fixture into the white snug clips until secure.
Magnetic Clip Installation
- Install magnet rings with the provided #6x5/8" flat head screw.
- Attach clips to the fixture, matching magnet distances.
- Align and snap the fixture to the magnetic rings.
Rigid Lock Channel Installation
- Mount the rigid lock channel using the provided #6x5/8" flat head screw.
- Push the retainer clip onto the fixture.
- Push the fixture with the retainer clip into the rigid lock channel.
- Tighten the set screw to lock the fixture in the channel for extra security.
Side Graze Channel Installation
- Install the side graze channel using the provided #6x5/8" flat head screw.
- Press the fixture into the side graze channel.
PVC Mount Clip [KURV-PPS-2] Installation
Connects two seamless fixtures, with or without wire exit.
- Mount the clip [shown with S1 & P1 feed].
- Press in fixtures.
- Finished assembly for seamless bottom feed mounting [S5/P5].
Low Profile PVC Mount Clip [KURV-PPS-LP-2] Installation
Connects two fixtures, no wire exit.
- Mount the clip [shown with S1 & P1 feed].
- Press in fixtures.
- Finished assembly for end feed mounting [S1/P1].
PVC Mount Channel [KURV-PPS-96 & KURV-PPS-FT] Installation
Provides support for the fixture. Available in 96" or custom length.
PPS-BRACKET Installation:
- The PPS-BRACKET can be field cuttable. Install as full length, multiple pieces, or end-to-end.
- Mount the PPS-BRACKET using #8 flat head screws [1 screw every 16"]. For drywall, mount into a stud.
- The PPS-96 or PPS-FT can also be field cuttable.
- To mount, pinch the upper half of the channel and pivot it around one side of the PPS-BRACKET, pushing until it snaps into place.
