Product Overview

The Westermo range of Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet Multimode SFPs offers cost-effective solutions for fiber optic installations in mission-critical OT networks. Depending on the required range and fiber availability, these models can utilize fiber optic cables with a core of 50 or 62.5 μm. With the DDM functionality fully integrated into WeOS, it is possible to monitor parameters such as temperature, TX/RX power, and voltage to ensure optimal performance.

The range includes options for 100 Mbit/s and 1 Gbit/s to ensure compatibility with most Westermo switches, routers, and modems. Fast Ethernet and 1 Gbit/s transceivers are compatible with the Lynx, RedFox, and ODW/MCW/SDW/LRW platforms, offering multiple options from 850 nm to 1550 nm.

All Westermo SFP transceivers are thoroughly tested to high standards. Each model has undergone rigorous environmental testing to ensure it performs according to specifications even under the harshest conditions. Furthermore, functionality is validated and pushed to its limits to ensure availability and reliability in mission-critical applications.

WeOS, Westermo's operating system, is designed to meet the toughest demands, with full support for all offered transceivers being a crucial aspect. All WeOS functionalities have been extensively tested and verified for full support on any WeOS device with a Westermo transceiver installed.
