Troubleshooting and Maintenance

Troubleshooting Common Issues

  • No Triggering/Shooting: Check battery installation, power status, channel/group settings, hot shoe connection, and mode settings.
  • Focusing Issues: Ensure the camera is set to Autofocus (AF) mode, not Manual Focus (MF).
  • Interference: If experiencing interference, change the trigger's channel. Consider moving away from other 2.4G devices or changing their channels.
  • Flash Recycle Time: Ensure the flash is fully recycled. Lower flash output if overheating. Switch to M mode if TTL issues persist.
  • Distance Issues: Ensure the trigger and flash are within the effective range. Consider using a closer distance or setting the trigger's DIST to 0-30m.
  • Low Battery: Replace batteries in both the trigger and flash.

Maintenance

  • Prevent Drops: Avoid strong shocks or vibrations.
  • Keep Dry: The product is not waterproof. Avoid moisture and high humidity to prevent internal damage.
  • Temperature Changes: Protect from rapid temperature changes to prevent condensation.
  • Magnetic Fields: Keep away from strong magnetic fields or static electricity.
