NuPhy Halo96 Quick Guide

1 - System Selection

Select your operating system:

• Win mode
• Mac mode

2 - Connection Mode Selection

Choose your connection method:

• Power Off
• Wired mode: Connect with a data cable.
• Wireless mode: Connect wirelessly.

3 - Wireless Device Connection

Connect via Bluetooth or 2.4Ghz:

• Bluetooth: Long press 3 seconds to enter pairing mode, short press to switch between devices.
• 2.4Ghz: Plug the receiver into your computer before pressing FN + 4.

RGB Light Bar Status Indicator

Understand the battery and charging status:

• Battery >80%: [Battery indicator green]
• Battery 20%~80%: [Battery indicator orange]
• Battery <20%: [Battery indicator red]
• Charging: [Charging indicator pulsing]

Indicator Lights:

• Caps Lock: [Caps Lock indicator]
• Wired mode: [Wired mode indicator]

• Mac mode: [Mac mode indicator]

Keyboard Layout Overview

The keyboard features a standard QWERTY layout with dedicated function keys, navigation keys, and a numeric keypad.

Key Functionality:

• FN + Backspace: Delete
• FN + Left Arrow: Home
• FN + Right Arrow: End
• FN + Up Arrow: Page Up
• FN + Down Arrow: Page Down
• FN + Esc: ~
• FN + Tab: Control
• FN + Caps Lock: Lock Win key

4 - Backlight Settings

Adjust backlight effects and brightness:

• FN + Backlight effect switching: Cycle through backlight modes.
• FN + Backlight color switching: Change backlight colors.
• FN + ↑ / ↓: Adjust backlight brightness.
• FN + ← / →: Adjust backlight speed.

5 - Halolight Settings

Customize the halo light effects:

• FN + H + Backlight effect switching: Cycle through halo light modes.
• FN + H + Backlight color switching: Change halo light colors.
• FN + H + ↑ / ↓: Adjust halo light brightness.
• FN + H + ← / →: Adjust halo light speed.

6 - RGB Light Bar Setting

Configure the RGB light bar effects:

• FN + ? + Backlight effect switching: Cycle through RGB light bar modes.
• FN + ? + Backlight color switching: Change RGB light bar colors.
• FN + ? + ↑ / ↓: Adjust RGB light bar brightness.
• FN + ? + ← / →: Adjust RGB light bar speed.

7 - Function Keys Switching

Switch between F1-F12 and multimedia keys:

• FN + X + F: Toggle between F1-F12 and multimedia functions.

8 - Battery Indicator

Check the battery status:

• FN + (Display battery level): The RGB light bar shows the current battery level color.
• FN + 1: Enable battery indicator always on.
• FN + 1 (again): Disable battery indicator always on.

9 - Other Key Combos

Useful key combinations:
