Installation Guide
Follow these steps to install your rackmount shelf:
- Determine the desired mounting location in your rack or cabinet, ensuring a 1U space is available.
- If your rack uses square-holed mounting, install cage nuts (sold separately) into the front mounting holes of the rack.
- Position the shelf onto the rack, aligning the front bracket's mounting holes with the rack's mounting holes (or cage nuts).
- Secure the shelf to the rack using the provided cabinet screws. If not using the provided cage nuts or M6 screw-type rack posts, use appropriate mounting hardware for your rack.
- Before placing any equipment, ensure all screws are tightened securely and the shelf is stable. Verify the shelf's maximum load capacity.
Safety Warning: For safe installation, ensure the rack is placed on a stable surface, all hardware is securely fastened, and tools are properly used. When installing equipment into the rack, start from the bottom and work your way up, placing the heaviest equipment at the lowest possible position to prevent tipping.
