Introduction

This guide provides essential steps for the quick installation and initial setup of your Super B Epsilon Series 12V150Ah and 12V100Ah lithium batteries.

Included Components

The following components are typically included for installation:

• M8 Bolts and Nuts
• M6 Bolts and Nuts
• Washers
• Battery Cables (Red for positive, Black for negative)
• Terminal Covers
• Securing Screws (E, F)
• Battery Handles (Optional/Included)

Connecting Battery Terminals

This section illustrates the basic connection of cables to the battery terminals. The diagrams show the EPSILON SERIES batteries and the necessary M8 and M6 hardware (bolts, nuts, washers) identified as A through F.

Steps:

1. Identify the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals on the battery.
2. Attach the main battery cables: Connect the red cable to the positive (+) terminal and the black cable to the negative (-) terminal.
3. Ensure the cable connections are secure.

Securing M8 Terminals

This process details the secure attachment of components using M8 hardware.

Required Hardware: 2x M8 Bolts (A), 2x M8 Nuts (B), 2x Washers (C) per terminal connection.

Steps:

1. Position the battery cables or accessories onto the battery terminals.
2. Insert M8 bolts through the terminal and cable/accessory, securing with M8 nuts and washers.
3. Tighten the M8 connections to a torque specification of 20 Nm using a suitable wrench.
4. Confirm all M8 connections are firmly secured.

Securing M6 Terminals

This process details the secure attachment of components using M6 hardware.

Required Hardware: 2x M6 Bolts (D) per connection, along with associated nuts and washers.

Steps:

1. Attach any secondary cables or accessories to the designated M6 terminals.
2. Use M6 bolts, nuts, and washers to secure these connections.
3. Tighten the M6 connections to a torque specification of 10 Nm.

Installing the Battery Lid

This section covers the installation of the battery lid and securing mechanisms.

Components: Securing Screws (E, F), Handles.

Steps:

1. Place the battery lid correctly onto the battery housing.
2. Insert and tighten the securing screws (E, F) to fix the lid in place.
3. Attach any included handles for easier handling.
4. Ensure the lid is fully secured and flush with the battery casing.

Initial Charging Requirement

⚠️ Important: The battery is shipped with a 0% charge level. It is critical to charge the battery immediately before its first use. Connect your charger to the battery.

Bluetooth Pincode Information

For batteries equipped with Bluetooth, locate the Serial Number (S/N) and Bluetooth Pincode. These details are typically printed on a label affixed to the battery or its packaging. Example format: S/N: #########, Bluetooth Pincode: ######.
