Getting Started

Charging the Watch

Charge the LAMAX WatchY4 Play before first use. Connect the magnetic charging cable to the watch and a USB power source. Full charge takes approximately 2.5 hours.

Turning the Device On/Off

Turn on by holding the SOS button for at least 3 seconds. Turn off via the 'Settings' menu or remotely through the LAMAX CONNECT app.

Inserting a SIM Card

A nano SIM card is required. Use the provided tool to eject the SIM slot, insert the card with the chip facing up, and reinsert the slot.

Installing the LAMAX CONNECT App

For full functionality, install the LAMAX CONNECT mobile app (available for Android 5.0+ and iOS 12+). Scan the QR code or search in your app store.

User and Device Registration

Register your account with email and password, then pair your watch by scanning its QR code or entering the pairing number in the app.

Navigation

Control the watch using touch gestures: swipe left/right for menus, tap to select.

Functions

Phone: Make and receive calls.
Chat: Record and send voice messages.
Video Call: Make video calls (limited to 5 minutes per call).
Camera: Capture photos.
Add Friend: Connect with other watches within 8 meters.
Pedometer: Track daily steps.
Localization: View GPS route and location via the app.

Important Information

Water and Dust Resistance

The watch has an IP68 rating, making it resistant to splashes, sweat, light rain, and snow. It is not suitable for swimming, diving, or high-pressure water exposure.
