5C. Set Throttle Range

If you replace the remote control, recalibrate the throttle range for proper ESC function.

  1. Turn on the remote control. Ensure throttle trim is at 0. Set D/R, EPA, ATL, and other throttle parameters to 100%.
  2. Press and hold the SET button, then turn on the ESC. The ESC LED will flash, and the motor will emit a "chirp" sound. Release the SET button. The red ESC LED will flash rapidly, indicating throttle programming mode.
  3. Neutral Position: Keep the throttle lever neutral and press the SET button once. The red LED will turn off, and the motor will emit a "Di" sound, confirming the neutral position is saved.
  4. Max Forward Position: Pull the throttle lever fully back. Press the SET button once. The red LED will flash twice, and the motor will emit two "Di-Di" sounds, confirming the max forward position is saved.
  5. Max Backward Position: Push the throttle lever fully forward. Press the SET button once. The red LED will flash three times, and the motor will emit three "Di-Di-Di" sounds, confirming the max backward position is saved.

Once these steps are completed, calibration is finished. The ESC can be used normally when the throttle lever is in the neutral position.
