Product Description

The Juno IC926LED is an IC-rated, Air-Loc® sealed slope ceiling new construction housing with an integral light engine. It is designed to be completely covered with insulation, significantly reducing air infiltration and exfiltration, thereby lowering heating and cooling costs without the need for additional gaskets. This housing is engineered for a 50,000-hour lifespan and is compatible with standard Juno trims. It comes with a 5-year limited warranty on LED components.

Product Specifications

LED Light Engine

Features an extruded heat sink and cast aluminum slider plate integrated directly with the housing for superior thermal management and extended LED life. The replaceable light engine mounts directly to the slider plate and utilizes the latest generation, high lumen output LED array. LEDs are binned within a 3-step MacAdam Ellipse. Available color temperatures include 2700K, 3000K, and 3500K, with a minimum 90 CRI.

Optical System

A computer-optimized internal reflector with a specular finish, coupled with a high-transmission diffusing lens, conceals the LEDs and produces uniform aperture luminance. An adjustable slider plate allows for perpendicular positioning of LEDs/reflector to the floor. The plate includes 1/4" adjustment indicators for consistent alignment.

Aesthetic Trim Selections

Compatible with existing Juno trims. Trims are wet location approved for covered ceiling applications.

LED Driver

Available with dedicated 120 volt (120) driver or universal voltage (MVOLT) drivers that accommodate input voltages from 120-277 volts AC at 50-60Hz. Power factor is greater than 0.9 at 120V input. The 120 volt only driver is dimmable with most incandescent, magnetic low voltage, and electronic low voltage wall box dimmers. Universal voltage drivers are dimmable with most 0-10V wall dimmers. For a list of compatible dimmers, refer to JUNOICLED-DIM. The driver is mounted inside the housing on a removable J-box cover for easy maintenance.

Life

Rated for 50,000 hours at 70% lumen maintenance.

Housing Features

Housing

Designed for use in IC (insulated ceiling) or non-IC construction. Features a .032" aluminum housing sealed for Air-Loc compliance. An access door provides entry to the junction box. The inner skirt is vertically adjustable to accommodate ceilings up to 1" thick.

Junction Box

Includes a pre-wired junction box with (5) ½" and (1) 3½" knockouts, (4) non-metallic sheathed cable connectors, and a ground wire. UL and cUL listed for through-branch wiring, supporting a maximum of 8 No. 12 AWG 90° C branch circuit conductors (4 in, 4 out). The junction box is equipped with removable access plates and knockouts with pryout slots. Push-in electrical connectors are supplied as standard for quick and secure installation.

Mounting Frame

Features a 22-gauge die-formed galvanized steel mounting frame. The rough-in section (junction box, mounting frame, and bar hangers) comes fully assembled for easy installation. The Real Nail® 3 Bar Hangers system allows for quick placement of the housing within 24" O.C. joists or suspended ceilings. It includes a removable nail for repositioning in wood joist construction. An integral T-bar mounting feature is included for suspended ceilings. The design is covered under U.S. Patent D552,969.
