REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY TRANSMITTER (KEY FOB)

Unlock
Press to unlock the driver's door. Press again to unlock all doors.
Lock Press to lock all doors. The driver's door will not lock when open if the Unlocked Door Anti Lock Out feature is turned on.
Vehicle Locator/Panic Alarm Press and hold briefly to locate your vehicle. The turn signal lamps will flash and the horn will sound. Press and hold for 3 seconds to activate the alarm. The turn signal lamps will flash and the horn will sound until the button is pressed again or the ignition is turned on.
Trunk Press and hold to unlock the trunk.

Remote Vehicle StartF Press and release the Lock button and then press and hold the button
until the turn signal lamps flash to start the engine from outside the vehicle.
After entering the vehicle, turn the ignition to the ON position.
· During a remote start, the engine will run for 10 minutes.
· Press and hold the button until the parking lamps turn off to cancel a remote start.
Note: Open Vehicle Settings in the Configuration menu to change the remote lock, unlock, and remote start settings.
If the remote start heated seatFoption is selected, the heated seat button indicators do not illuminate and the temperature performance of the unoccupied heated seat may be reduced during the remote start. The heated seat turns off when the ignition is turned on.

DOOR LOCKS
To lock or unlock all doors, press the power door Lock/ Unlock button located on the driver's door. Note: Open Vehicle Settings in the Configuration menu to change the lock and unlock settings. To open a locked door from inside, pull the inside door handle to unlock the door and then pull the door handle again to open the door. To prevent passengers from opening a rear door from the inside, use the key to turn the
safety lock, located on the inside edge of each rear door, to the horizontal position.

KEYLESS ACCESS SYSTEMF
The Keyless Access System enables operation of the doors, ignition and trunk without removing the transmitter from a pocket or purse. The system will recognize the transmitter when it is within 3 feet of the vehicle.
Keyless Unlocking/Locking With the transmitter within range of the vehicle, press the button on a door handle to unlock the driver's door or all doors. Press the button on a door handle and all doors will lock if the ignition is off, the transmitter is removed from the vehicle, and all doors are closed.
Note: Open the Vehicle Settings in the Configuration menu to change the unlock and lock settings. Keyless Trunk Opening
With the transmitter within range, press the trunk release button above the license plate.

KEYLESS STARTF
Start With the vehicle in Park or Neutral, press the brake pedal and then press and hold the START/STOP button to start the engine. Note: The transmitter must be in the vehicle to turn on the ignition. If the Driver Information Center displays No Remote Detected or Replace Battery in Remote Key, place the transmitter in the center console pocket to enable the engine to start. (See the Owner Manual for instructions.)
Stop Shift to Park and press the START/STOP button to turn off the engine.
Accessory With the engine off, press the START/STOP button once to place the ignition system in the accessory position.

SEAT ADJUSTMENTS

A. Seat Fore/Aft Adjustment Lift the handle under the front of the seat near the console to slide the seat forward or rearward.
B. Seat Height Adjustment Ratchet the middle lever to raise or lower the seat.
C. Seatback Recline Adjustment Lift the rear lever to recline or raise the seatback.

Power Driver's SeatF A

A. Seat Adjustment

Move the control to move the seat forward or rearward and to raise, lower or tilt the seat.

B. Seatback Recline Adjustment

Lift the rear lever to recline or raise

the seatback.

TILT/TELESCOPIC STEERING WHEEL
With the vehicle in Park, push down the lever on the left side of the steering column to adjust the steering wheel. The steering wheel can then be moved up or down and in or out. Pull up the lever to lock the steering wheel in place.

SUN VISORS
Detach either sun visor from its center mount and pivot it to block the glare of the sun in a side window. On the driver's side only, the visor will slide along the visor rod.

Recirculation Mode The Recirculation Mode can help to quickly cool the air inside the vehicle or prevent outside odors from entering the vehicle. It is not available while the Defog or Defrost Mode is selected. When the Recirculation Mode is used without air conditioning, the air humidity increases and the windows may fog.
Automatic OperationF 1. Press AUTO.
2. Set the temperature. Allow time for the system to automatically reach the desired temperature.
Note: When outside temperature and vehicle temperature are cold, fan speed will not increase until warmer air is available.

Setting the Time 1. Press the Power button to turn on the radio. 2. Press the CLOCK button; or press the CONFIG button, turn the MENU knob to highlight
Time and Date Settings, and then press the knob to select it. 3. Turn the MENU knob to highlight the desired time or date item; press the knob to
select it. 4. Turn the MENU knob to change the value; press the knob to confirm the set value. 5. Press the BACK button to exit each menu.
Storing Favorite Stations Radio stations from all bands (AM, FM or XMF) can be stored, in any order, on up to six pages of favorites. 1. Tune in the desired radio station. 2. Press the FAV button to display the page where the station is to be stored. 3. Press and hold one of the six numeric pushbuttons until the station is heard,
indicating it is stored. 4. Repeat the steps for each pushbutton on each page.
Autostore Stations Press the AS button for 2 seconds to automatically store the 12 strongest AM or FM stations as autostore presets. Press the AS button to alternate between autostore station pages (AS displays on the radio).

Portable Audio Devices
AB C

A 3.5-mm auxiliary input jack (A) and a USB portF (B) are located in the center console. Route the device wires through the wire exit (C) of the console lid.
A portable audio device connected to the auxiliary input jack can be controlled only by using the portable device controls. To optimize speaker volume, fully increase the volume level of the portable device.
Compatible devices connected to the USB port can be controlled by the audio system. Not all devices may be supported. Use the MENU knob and the audio steering wheel controls to access various functions and to disconnect a USB device.

BASE AUDIO SYSTEM
Bluetooth® System Before using a Bluetooth-enabled device in the vehicle, it must be paired with the in-vehicle Bluetooth system. Not all devices will support all functions. The pairing process is disabled when the vehicle is moving. For more information, visit www.gmtotalconnect.com.
Pair a Phone 1. To use voice recognition, press the Push to Talk button; after the beep,
say "Pair." Or press the CONFIG button and then select Phone Settings > Bluetooth > Pair Device. 2. Start the pairing process on the phone. Locate your vehicle name on the phone. 3. Enter the four-digit code that appears on the touch screen into the phone or confirm the six-digit code on the phone.
Storing Phone Numbers as Name Tags Up to 30 phone numbers can be stored as name tags in the Hands-Free Directory. 1. Press the Push to Talk button. 2. After the beep, say "Store," immediately followed by a phone number (e.g. "Store
123-555-1212"). Do not pause while speaking. The system prompts to assign a name tag to the phone number.
Using Bluetooth to Make Calls 1. Press the Push to Talk button. 2. After the beep, say "Call" or "Dial," immediately followed by a stored name tag or 10- or
7-digit phone number (e.g. "Call John at Work" or "Dial 123-555-1212"). Do not pause while speaking. A name tag must have been previously stored.
Voice Pass-Thru Voice Pass-Thru allows access to the voice recognition commands on the cell phone. This can be used as an alternative to creating stored name tags. 1. Press the Push to Talk button; after the beep, say "Voice." 2. The system responds "OK, accessing <phone name.>" The cell phone must have been
paired with the Bluetooth system. 3. Say a voice command (e.g. "Call John"). The cell phone's normal prompt messages will
be heard according to the phone's operating instructions.

Voice Recognition Control the music source and make phone calls hands-free (after pairing your Bluetoothenabled phone) using the enhanced voice recognition system. 1. Download the Pandora app to your smartphone. Restart the smartphone and sign in to Pandora. Create a station on your phone to listen to a customized song list in the vehicle. Connect your smartphone/device to the system by Bluetooth or, for Apple devices, by a USB cable. Touch the Pandora icon on the touch screen to access Pandora. A slight delay may occur when loading a song or changing a station.
Stitcher SmartRadioTM Stream favorite podcasts, radio shows and news to your vehicle.
Download the Stitcher app to your smartphone. Restart the smartphone and sign in to Stitcher. Select a category to listen to. If you like the station, touch the Star screen button to add it to your Favorites list. Note: Pandora and Stitcher can be played using the Bluetooth connection. However, the Pandora and Stitcher screen icons and voice commands will be active only when connected to USB/AUX.
SiriusXMTM Satellite RadioF (subscription required) NEW XM Travel Link includes fuel locations and prices, weather, and movies with theater locations. Additional subscription fee required. NEW XM Tune Select finds your favorite artists or songs on all XM stations and alerts you. SiriusXM provides access to over 180 channels of commercial-free music, sports, talk, entertainment, comedy and weather using the radio controls or voice commands.

CRUISE CONTROLF

Setting Cruise Control
1. Press the On/Off button. The Cruise Control symbol will illuminate in white in the instrument cluster.
2. When traveling at the desired speed, rotate the SET thumbwheel down to set the speed. The Cruise Control symbol will illuminate in green in the instrument cluster.

Adjusting Cruise Control
RES+ Resume/Accelerate Rotate the thumbwheel up to resume a set speed.
When the system is active, rotate the thumbwheel up to increase speed.
SET Set/Coast When the system is active, rotate the thumbwheel down to decrease speed.
Cancel Press to cancel the cruise control but retain the set speed in memory.
Pressing the brake pedal or clutch pedal (manual transmission only) also will cancel the cruise control.
The cruise control set speed is erased when cruise control or the vehicle ignition is turned off.

ONSTAR® WITH 4G LTEF
With OnStar 4G LTE and Wi-Fi®, up to seven devices (smartphones, tablets and laptops) can be connected to high-speed Internet through the vehicle's built-in Wi-Fi hotspot.
To retrieve the SSID and password for the hotspot, press the OnStar Voice Command button on the overhead console or rearview mirror, wait for the prompt, and then say "Wi-Fi settings." The information will be displayed on the screen. For assistance, press the blue OnStar button or call 1-888-4-ONSTAR (1-888-466-7827). DRIVER INFORMATION CENTERF

The Driver Information Center (DIC) on the instrument cluster displays a variety of vehicle system information and warning messages.
DIC Controls
A. MENU Press to display the:
Trip/Fuel menu (TRIP). May include digital speedometer, fuel used, timer, navigationF, fuel range, average fuel economy, instantaneous fuel economy, average vehicle speed, and trip odometers.
Vehicle Information menu (OPTION). May include units, tire pressure, remaining oil life, and battery voltage.
ECO menu (if equipped). May include best average fuel economy, ECO index, and economy trend.

B. Rotate the switch to scroll through the items of each menu.
C. SET/CLR Press the button on the end of the lever to set a menu item or clear a message. Press and hold the button to reset a menu item.

Pull the lever toward you to spray washer fluid on the windshield.

VEHICLE PERSONALIZATIONF

Some vehicle features can be customized by using the audio controls and menus. Personalization menus may include climate and air quality, comfort and convenience, collision/detection systems, languages, lighting, power door locks, remote lock/unlock/start, and factory settings.

1. Press the CONFIG button (A) to enter the System Configuration menu.

2. Turn the MENU knob (B) to highlight Vehicle Settings; press the knob to select it.

3. Turn the MENU knob to highlight the desired Settings menu; press the knob to select it.

4. Turn the MENU knob to highlight the desired item in the menu; press the knob to select it.

5. Turn the MENU knob to highlight the desired

selection; press the knob to select it and

move back to the last menu.

6. Press the BACK button (C) to move back within a menu and to exit each menu.

STABILITRAK®/TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEMS
The traction control system limits wheelspin and the StabiliTrak stability control system assists with directional control of the vehicle in difficult driving conditions. Both systems turn on automatically every time the vehicle is started. Traction control should be turned off using the StabiliTrak/Traction Control button next to the shift lever if the vehicle is stuck and rocking the vehicle is required.

MANUAL TRANSMISSION -- SELECTING REVERSE
Before shifting into Reverse, completely stop the vehicle. When selecting Reverse, pull up the ring on the shift lever and then swiftly move the lever to the left side of the gear pattern. Forcing the shift lever into gear may damage the transmission.

AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
Note: The transmission has a fuel-saving Neutral shift feature. It shifts into Neutral when the vehicle comes to a stop and the brake pedal is applied. It shifts back to Drive when the brake pedal is released. When stopped on a hill, the vehicle may roll very slightly before shifting into Drive.

Driver Shift Control Driver Shift Control (DSC) allows the driver to shift gears manually. This feature can be used to drive the vehicle in a sportier manner or to downshift when driving on a downhill grade to provide engine braking.
1. Move the shift lever to the Manual (M) position.
2. Tap the shift lever forward (+) to upshift or rearward () to downshift. An M and the current gear will be displayed in the Driver Information Center.
If vehicle speed is too high or too low for the requested gear, the shift will not occur. When coming to a stop, the transmission will downshift automatically.

TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR
The Low Tire Pressure warning light on the instrument cluster illuminates when one or more of the vehicle's tires is significantly underinflated. Fill the tires to the proper tire pressures. The proper tire pressures for the vehicle are listed on the Tire and Loading Information label, located below the driver's door latch. Current tire pressures can be viewed in the Driver Information Center. Tire pressure is affected by cold weather and distance driven. If the low tire pressure warning light illuminates when the vehicle is first started in cooler temperatures and then turns off as the vehicle is driven, check for the proper tire pressures. Refer to your Owner Manual for additional information about normal monthly tire maintenance.

REFUELING THE VEHICLE

To open the fuel door, press and release the center of the rear edge of the door. It will pop out slightly. Pull the door open.

DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEMS
The driver assistance systems use advanced technologies to help avoid collisions by providing visual and audible alerts under some imminent collision conditions.
Side Blind Zone AlertF While driving, the Side Blind Zone Alert displays a warning symbol on the left or right side mirror when a vehicle is detected in that side blind zone area. The warning symbol flashes if a turn signal is activated when a vehicle has been detected.
Rear Vision CameraF/Rear Cross-Traffic AlertF When the vehicle is in Reverse, the Rear Vision Camera displays a view of the area behind the vehicle. Rear Cross-Traffic Alert warns of traffic coming from either direction -- up to 65 feet (20 m) from the left or right side of the vehicle -- by displaying a visual alert on the Rear Vision Camera display and sounding three beeps from the left or right.
Rear Parking AssistF When the vehicle is in Reverse, detected objects are indicated by audible beeps. The interval between beeps becomes shorter as the vehicle gets closer to an object. When the distance is less than 12 in. (30 cm), the beeps are continuous. The system only operates at speeds less than 5 mph. Note: These systems may not be available if dirt or snow builds up on the sensors or camera lens. Keep the vehicle clean for proper operation.

CLEAN TURBO DIESEL FEATURES (IF EQUIPPED)

Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF)
DEF is used with diesel engines to reduce the amount of regulated emissions produced. The 4.8-gallon DEF tank is located under the load floor in the trunk. The amount of DEF in the tank must be maintained for the vehicle to run correctly.
The DEF level indicator is displayed on the Driver Information Center. When approaching empty, a message will be displayed to refill the DEF tank. If it is not refilled, the engine computer will begin to limit vehicle speed, starting at 65 mph, and over time and mileage will reduce maximum speed to less than 10 mph.
DEF may be obtained at your dealership or many diesel retailers. The DEF tank will be refilled at dealerships for the first two years of ownership as part of the regular maintenance package.

Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF)
The DPF filters the diesel exhaust gas. Occasionally, the DPF needs to be cleaned. The DPF cleaning cycle is automatically controlled by the engine computer and should normally be maintenance-free. If the vehicle is not being operated in a manner to allow effective DPF cleaning, a message will be displayed on the Driver Information Center. Refer to your Owner Manual for additional maintenance information.

Roadside Assistance and OnStar
If you have a current OnStar subscription, press the OnStar button and the vehicle will send your current GPS location to an OnStar Advisor who will speak to you, assess your problem, contact Roadside Assistance and relay your exact location so you will get the help you need.
