Installation
Pre-installation Checks
Before installation, ensure the main power switch is turned off!
After the device is powered on, all wires (including the antenna) may be connected to the mains electrical installation. Ensure the product is securely installed in a protected environment inaccessible to hands, such as a switch socket or protective lamp cover.
Do not overload the device. Before powering on, ensure the 10A overcurrent protection switch preceding this product is functioning correctly. Recommended wire stripping length for terminal connections: 6~8 mm.
Wiring Methods
Connect the wires according to the requirements using one of the following methods:
Method 1: Standard Single Switch Wiring
L1 is connected to the wire leading to the load. S0 and S1 are connected to the two terminals of an external switch. L is connected to the live wire, and N is connected to the neutral wire.

Method 2: External Switch Wiring
L1 is connected to the wire leading to the load. One terminal of the external switch is connected to S0, and the other terminal is connected to the live wire (L). L is connected to the live wire, and N is connected to the neutral wire.

Method 3: Dual Control Wiring
L1 is connected to the wire leading to the load. If the external switch is a dual-control switch, the terminal of the original switch that was connected to the load wire can be connected to S0 to achieve external dual control. L is connected to the live wire, and N is connected to the neutral wire.

Note: The maximum wire cross-sectional area is 2.5 mm².
If no external switch is connected, S0 and S1 can remain idle, and the device can be controlled via automation or the app.
Module and Antenna Installation
The module is designed to be securely built into the device (e.g., a pendant lamp or a switch electrical box) to prevent accidental contact.
Antenna Installation:
- The internal antenna wire is connected to the mains electricity. Do not touch it if it is damaged; replace or repair it promptly. Avoid placing the antenna in environments where it could be touched in daily life.
- When the Aqara module is installed in a switch electrical box, it is recommended to attach the antenna to the side wall of the plastic electrical box, parallel to the wall. If the switch console is made of plastic, the antenna should be no more than 10 mm from the wall. If the switch panel console is made of metal, the antenna should be more than 15 mm from the metal console.
- If the module is installed in a metal conduit, it is recommended to place the antenna inside a plastic electrical box.
- When attaching the antenna, try to avoid metal, wires, and the module itself. If installed on the ceiling or inside lights, the antenna should avoid excessive shielding.
- Do not press, bend, or pull the antenna forcefully, as this may damage it.
After installation, turn on the main power switch and press the button on the module or the external switch. If the device can be turned on/off normally, it is functioning correctly.
Quick Installation and Setup
- Before activating the accessory, ensure you have downloaded the Aqara Home app and installed the Aqara Hub.
- Open the app, tap on "Home", and then tap the "+" icon in the top right corner to enter the "Add Device (Accessory)" page. Select "Single Switch Module T1 (With Neutral)" and follow the on-screen instructions to add it.
Troubleshooting: If pairing fails, move the module closer to the Hub and try again.
Range Test
Quickly press the button on the accessory three times. If the Hub provides an audible confirmation, it means the accessory can communicate effectively with the Hub.
