Battery Status Check
- Earbud Battery Status: After connecting the earbuds to your phone, you can check the earbud battery status on the phone's status bar. (Note: The phone's status bar always displays the battery level of the earbud with the lowest charge. This feature is not supported by all phones.)
- Charging Case Battery Status: Open the charging case lid or press the function button if the lid is closed:
- When the charging case indicator lights up for 5 seconds, it means the battery is sufficiently charged.
- When the charging case indicator blinks, it means the battery is nearly depleted and needs to be charged immediately.
- Battery Status Check via Mi Phone: After successful connection, place earbuds in the case and close the lid. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your Mi phone. Hold the phone near the charging case and open the lid. A notification will appear on the phone, showing the battery status of both earbuds and the case. (Note: Ensure your Mi phone is updated to the latest stable version. This feature is currently supported by select Mi phones only.)
Powering On
The earbuds turn on automatically when the charging case lid is opened.
Sleep Mode
Place the earbuds back into the charging case and close the lid. The earbuds will disconnect and automatically enter sleep mode.
Wearing
Remove the earbuds from the charging case and insert them into your ears, noting the L (left) and R (right) markings.
Note: After use, place the earbuds back into the charging case. This prolongs their lifespan and helps prevent loss.

Pairing with a New Device
- Place the earbuds in the charging case, then press and hold the function button for 2 seconds. The charging case indicator will blink, indicating the earbuds are ready for pairing.
- Turn on Bluetooth on your device, search for "Mi Earphones 2 Pro", and connect. If a passcode is required, enter "0000".

Connecting with Mi Phones
Place the earbuds in the charging case and close the lid. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your Mi phone. Hold the phone near the charging case and open the lid. Follow the on-screen prompts on your phone to connect to the earbuds.
Note: The quick connect feature is currently supported by select Mi phones only. Please update your phone to the latest stable version.
Connection Interrupted
If your device is out of range or Bluetooth is disabled, the earbuds will automatically enter pairing standby mode. If they do not connect to any device within five minutes, they will enter sleep mode.
Automatic Reconnection
When the earbuds are in the charging case, opening the lid will automatically connect them to the last used Bluetooth device. If they do not connect within five minutes, they will enter sleep mode.
Note: If the earbuds cannot connect automatically, you may need to manually connect them via your device's Bluetooth settings.
Clearing Pairing History
- Place the earbuds in the charging case.
- Press and hold the charging case function button for at least 10 seconds until the indicator light blinks.
The earbuds will be reset, pairing history cleared, the charging case indicator will blink, and the earbuds will re-enter pairing mode.
