CAS Product Quick Guide

A CAS CL-5500 ticket and label printing scale is shown, featuring a digital display, a keyboard with alphanumeric and numeric keys, and a label dispenser.

• To select Ticket or Label mode, press 1810 [plus] Menu Key. Sales mode 1 = Ticket mode, 2 = Label mode.

Sales Operation (Ticket mode)

Weight items

1. Press speed key to call up a PLU OR press PLU number [plus] PLU key
2. Place item on the Platter
3. Press Print Key then Enter Clerk Number to recode a sale. (or Clerk Speed Key)
4. Remove item from platter.

Count items

1. Press speed key to call up a PLU OR press PLU number [plus] PLU key
2. Enter the number of pieces.
3. Press Print Key then Enter Clerk Number to recode a sale. (or Clerk Speed Key)
4. Remove item from platter.

To complete sale

1. Press PAY key then Enter Clerk Number [plus] Print Key. (or Clerk Speed Key)
2. Enter Payment Method. 0 = Cash, 3 = Card [plus] Print Key

Labelling Operation (Label mode)

1. Press speed key to call up a PLU OR press PLU number [plus] PLU key
2. Place item on the Platter
3. Press Print Key to print a label.
