Getting Started: App and Account Setup
Before connecting your Vision Connect Hub, download the appropriate Lockly or LocklyPro app onto your smartphone. This app is essential for setup and managing the connection between the hub and your lock.

Activation Card
You will need the Activation Card that came with your lock. This card contains a unique pre-paired QR code essential for setup. A QR code is also located on the bottom of the Vision Connect Hub. Keep this card in a safe place, as it is required for setup and recovery if you lose your smartphone or access code.
IMPORTANT: Without the QR code, you will not be able to reset your lock.
Account Registration
Set up an account by registering your Lockly product within the Lockly app. Registration is also mandatory to activate your lock's warranty.
Installation and Setup
Step-by-Step Installation
- Prepare the Hub: Ensure the included TF card is properly inserted into the Vision Connect Hub.
- Connect Power: Connect the power cable to the hub and plug the USB power adapter into a wall outlet.
- Connect to Network: Connect the included LAN cable from the Vision Connect Hub to your closest Wi-Fi router. Ensure the connection is within 100 feet (30 meters) of your Lockly Vision™ lock.
- Hub Calibration: Wait approximately 2 minutes for the hub to self-calibrate. The LED indicators will turn RED and then blinking yellow.
- Launch App and Add Device: Open the Lockly or LocklyPro app on your smartphone. Select "add a new device" and then choose the Vision Connect device. Follow the on-screen instructions, which will prompt you to scan the QR code from your Activation Card or the Vision Connect Hub.
- Connect to Device: Once setup is complete, the Vision Connect Hub is ready to connect to your iOS or Android™ device.
Optimal Placement and Connectivity
For optimal performance, the Vision Connect Hub should be placed strategically:
- Distance: The hub should be no further than 100 feet (30 meters) from your Lockly smart lock.
- Height: Place the hub approximately 3 feet (1 meter) off the ground.
- Setup Proximity: During the initial setup process, position yourself between the lock and the Vision Connect hub, ideally within the 100 feet (30 meters) range. Ensure your smartphone has both [Bluetooth] and [Wi-Fi] enabled.

Firmware Update Advisory
*Note: Power interruption during a firmware update may damage the Vision Connect hub. Do not interrupt or turn off the power while a firmware update is in progress.
