Thank you for purchasing the August MR230 Bluetooth Audio Receiver. This manual is designed to familiarize you with the functions of this product. Please read this manual carefully, even if you are already familiar with similar products.

Using the Device
Receiving Audio
Step 1: Turn the MR230 ON. The MR230 will enter reconnection mode and automatically connect to any previously paired device. If no known device is available, the MR230 will automatically enter pairing mode after 4 seconds, and the status LED will flash alternately red and blue.
Step 2: Enable Bluetooth on the source device.
Step 3: Search for Bluetooth devices on the source device and select MR230 to connect. Once paired, the status LED will light up solid blue.
Step 4: To pair with a new device, press and hold the multifunction button for 4 seconds to make the MR230 enter pairing mode again. This can be done when a device is already connected or when the receiver is in reconnection mode. In pairing mode, the status LED will flash alternately blue and red.
Note: When the source device is turned off, the MR230 will enter reconnection mode. The status LED will flash blue twice per second, and you can reconnect it to any previously paired device. For Android source devices, the MR230 will reconnect automatically; for other devices, select MR230 from the list of available Bluetooth devices.
For PC connections, Windows XP and Windows Vista may require third-party software for Bluetooth speaker connection. If using a recent version of Windows and the MR230 does not allow audio playback, please check that your Bluetooth module drivers are updated and that the Audio Output is set to the MR230.
Multifunction Button
While connected to a device, press the multifunction button to mute or unmute the audio.
When connected or in reconnection mode, press and hold the multifunction button for 4 seconds to reset the connection and enter pairing mode again. The status LED will flash alternately blue and red, allowing you to pair the MR230 with another new device.
Resetting the Receiver
To reset the receiver and clear all known devices, press and hold the multifunction button for 10 seconds. After the reset, the MR230 will enter pairing mode, and the status LED will flash alternately red and blue.
Charging the Device
Connect the MR230 to a powered USB port using the supplied USB cable. While the device is charging, the status LED will illuminate red and turn off once charging is complete. A full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours, depending on the power source.

Troubleshooting

Warranty
This product is guaranteed for 24 months from the date of purchase. In the event of any defect arising from faulty materials or workmanship, the unit will be repaired or replaced free of charge (where possible) during the mentioned period. If the product is unavailable or cannot be repaired, an alternative product will be offered.
The warranty is subject to the following conditions:
- The warranty is valid only in the country of purchase.
- The product must be correctly installed and used according to the instructions provided in the user manual.
- The product must be used for domestic use only.
- The warranty covers only the main unit, not accessories.
- The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, negligence, or natural disasters.
- The warranty will not be valid if the product has been repaired or damaged by unqualified persons. The manufacturer disclaims all liability for incidental or consequential damages.
- Please contact the service center before returning any product; we are not responsible for any unexpected returns.
- Any damaged product must be kept and returned with the original box, including all accessories and a copy of the original purchase receipt.
