Allow your speaker to fully charge for 4.5-5 hours prior to first use.

Pairing Your Device
Step 2
When you turn on your OnBeat Max for the first time, it will automatically enter pairing mode. The BLUE indicator light will flash. Search for "OnBeat Max" in your device's Bluetooth settings. When your device is paired, you will hear a connection tone.
If you would like to pair another device, you can do so in a couple of different ways:
Option 1: Turn off the Bluetooth for the device that is already connected. You will hear a tone indicating disconnection and see the BLUE indicator light flashing. You can now search for "OnBeat Max" in your other device's settings to connect.
Option 2: Long press the [Play, Pause, Answer] button (▶️⏸️) for 3 seconds until you hear the connection tone and see the BLUE indicator light flashing. You can now search for "OnBeat Max" in your other device's settings to connect.

Use the POWER BUTTON (⏻) to turn your OnBeat Max ON/OFF.
Use the + (➕) and - (➖) buttons to adjust volume and skip songs.
Use the [Play, Pause, Answer] button (▶️⏸️) to control music and answer, end, or decline phone calls. Long press the [Play, Pause, Answer] button for 3 seconds to connect to another phone.
Your OnBeat Max will turn off after 5 minutes if a device is not connected, your device is out of range, or your Bluetooth is turned off.

Pairing with Another OnBeat Max (TWS)
Step 4
To use the TWS (True Wireless Stereo) setting, ensure the other OnBeat Max is within range and that neither speaker is connected to a smartphone. Then, short press the TWS Button on each speaker to begin pairing.
When you see the indicator light flashing BLUE, followed by the connection tone, your speakers are paired. You may now pair them with your phone by selecting "OnBeat Max" in your Bluetooth settings.
When speakers are in TWS mode, all functions are linked. You only need to use controls on one of the speakers to control both.

How Much Power Do I Have?
Step 5
You can check the battery percentage on your smartphone:
Apple iOS 14 and up: From your home screen, swipe left to go to your "Today View". Long press any existing widget, select "Edit Home Screen" to enter jiggle mode. Look for the ➕ in the top left corner to search for the battery widget. Choose the widget size (small, medium, or large). This will show the battery level of all connected devices.
Android Oreo (8.1) and up: In Settings, go to "Connections" > "Bluetooth". Tap on the word "Bluetooth" (not the switch) to see a complete list of all connected devices and their battery level.
Visuals show example battery level displays on Apple iOS and Android devices.
Additionally, when your OnBeat Max reaches 20% power, you will hear "Battery Low" every 2 minutes. If it reaches 5% power, it will turn off automatically.
