Safety and Installation Instructions
Safety Instructions
Installation must be performed only by qualified personnel. National electrical installation rules must be followed. The device must be used only as a surge protector and according to the conditions described in this document. Surge protectors must be selected in relation to the AC electrical system. Dedicated fuses must be installed in the surge protector branch (see wiring diagram). In case of red indicator, replace the cartridge.
Installation
- Disconnect the power supply.
- Install the device on a 35 mm DIN rail, placing the device's upper recess on the top edge of the DIN rail. [See Fig. 1]
- Push down the device until its lower recess fits into the DIN rail. [See Fig. 1]
- Connect the device to the electrical system, respecting the maximum cable section and the wiring diagram. [See Fig. 2-3-4]
Cartridge Replacement
- Disconnect the power supply.
- Press the top and bottom ends of the cartridge to be replaced and pull it out of the device. [See Fig. 5]
- Install the new cartridge, ensuring it is seated correctly. [See Fig. 6]

WEEE Directive Information
The symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin indicates that this product, at the end of its useful life, must be collected separately from other waste. Users must take end-of-life equipment to appropriate separate collection centers for electronic and electrical waste, or return it to the retailer when purchasing new equivalent equipment, on a one-for-one basis, or one-for-zero for equipment with a larger side less than 25cm. Proper separate collection contributes to avoiding negative effects on the environment and health and promotes the recycling of the equipment's materials. Unauthorized disposal by the user will result in administrative sanctions.
