Thank you for purchasing the USB3.0 HDMI Video Capture device. This manual guides you through the setup process, aiming to provide a smooth digital experience. The USB3.0 HDMI Video Capture device allows you to connect directly to your PC (Windows, Mac, Linux) without needing driver installation. You can use any third-party software to capture or stream HD games or other HD video sources. It supports microphone audio input and 3.5mm stereo output. Additionally, it functions as a screen-sharing device for online meetings, facilitating easy sharing of presentation slides, spreadsheets, documents, and video recordings.

Ports and Buttons

Application Diagram
The application diagram illustrates a typical setup. It shows a Game Console and a PC connected to the capture device. An HDMI display (TV) is connected to the HDMI Output port. A microphone and headphones are connected to the respective input and output ports on the capture device.
Connection and Operation
General Connection Steps:
- Connect the HDMI signal source to the HDMI input of the video capture device using an HDMI cable.
- Connect a microphone to the 'mic' port of the video capture device.
- Connect the display device to the HDMI output of the video capture device using an HDMI cable.
- Connect the PC's USB port to the USB output of the video capture device using a USB cable.
Using OBS Studio (Windows):
- Run OBS Studio. Click the '+' icon under the "Sources" window and select "Video Capture Device".
- In the dropdown menu next to "Device", select "USB3.0 4K30 Video".
- Set the Audio Output Mode to "Output desktop audio (Wave Out)" and the Audio Device to "USB3.0 4K30 Audio".
- To synchronize audio and video, right-click on "Video Capture Device" in OBS, select "Filters", click the '+' icon, add "Video Delay (Async)", and set it to approximately 470ms. Adjust as needed for synchronization.
Working with Other Applications:
For applications like VLC, Media Encoder, or Protplayer, simply run the application and select "USB3.0 4K30 Video" as the capture device.
Working on MAC:
Using OBS Studio (Mac):
Download and install OBS Studio. Follow the same steps as outlined for Windows.
Using Quick Time Player:
- Run Quick Time Player and select "New Movie Recording".
- Under the Camera and Microphone options, choose "USB3.0 4K30 Video" and "USB3.0 4K30 Audio".
