Instructions and Programming Guide
Install Batteries
Requires 2 AA (1.5V) alkaline batteries (not included).
Note: To protect the timer, remove old batteries at the end of the watering season and dispose of properly. Install fresh batteries at the start of the season and whenever the Low Battery icon flashes.
Battery Status:
- ?✅ Full: Battery is fully charged.
- ?⚠️ Low: Battery is low, change soon.
- ?❌ Empty (Flashing): Unit is non-functional due to low battery.
Programming Your Timer
The timer display shows the current day and time. Icons indicate status:
- ?️ Rain Delay On: Indicates rain delay is active.
- ⚙️ Timer Programmed: Indicates the timer has a program set.
- ? Valve Open: Indicates the valve is currently open for watering.
- ?? Water 2x per day: Indicates the timer is set to water twice per day.
- ⚡ Water Now On: Indicates manual watering is active.
To program the timer, follow these steps:

Step 1: Set Clock
Use the function buttons (e.g.,
SET CLOCK
,SET START TIME
,SET RUN DAYS
,SET DURATION
) and theOK
button to set the current time and date.The display will show the selected days (Mon-Sun) and allow adjustment of hours and minutes.

Step 2: Set Start Time
Select the desired start time for watering. The timer can be set to water once or twice per day.
If set to water twice per day, a second start time can be configured.

Step 3: Set Run Days
Select the specific days of the week for watering. The selected days will be highlighted on the display.

Step 4: Set Duration
Set the desired watering duration for each cycle. The duration can be adjusted using the adjustment buttons (▲▼) and confirmed with
OK
. The maximum duration is up to 6 hours per cycle.
Operation
Automatic Watering
Turn the dial to the AUTO
position to enable automatic watering based on the programmed schedule.
When watering:
- The display shows the time remaining on the current watering cycle.
When not watering:
- The display shows the next scheduled start time and its duration.
- If set for 2x per day, it shows the first start time, then the second start time, followed by the duration.
Turning Unit Off
Turn the dial to the OFF
position. Your settings are saved.
Manual Watering ("Water Now")
Press the WATER NOW
button once to start manual watering for a pre-set duration (up to 72 hours). Watering begins within seconds.
Use the adjustment buttons (▲▼) to increase or decrease the manual watering time (in minutes).
The display shows the selected duration and then the time remaining while watering.
To cancel manual watering, press the CANCEL WATERING
button.
Rain Delay
Press the CANCEL WATERING
button once to cancel the current watering cycle. Watering stops within seconds.
Press the CANCEL WATERING
button again to set a specific rain delay period, up to 96 hours.
Recommended Use
This timer is intended for outdoor use with cold water only.
- Working Water Pressure: 15 psi (minimum) - 90 psi (maximum)
- Working Temperature: Keep from freezing; up to 110° F (maximum).
If using a pressure regulator and/or vacuum breaker, install them on the outlet side (bottom) of this timer.
