Product Introduction
The SONOFF TRVZB is a Thermostatic Radiator Valve designed to provide precise control over your home's heating system. It allows for remote control, smart timing, and features like window opening detection to help save energy.
Device Components
The TRVZB consists of the following parts:

Screen Display and Functions
The TRVZB features several screen displays and functions:

OP | Window opening detection function: When enabled via the app, the device detects if a window is opened. If cold air is detected and the temperature drops by more than 1.5°C within 4.5 minutes, the function activates, displaying OP and setting the temperature to 12°C. This function is disabled by temperature adjustments on the app/device, temperature rise, or inactivity. |
CA | Anti-calcification function: The device performs a routine calcium removal operation every Monday at 12:00 AM to prevent valve calcification. The screen will display CA during this operation. |
LC | Child lock function: Press the "Middle button" for 3 seconds to activate child lock, displaying LC . Press again for 3 seconds to deactivate, and the LC display will disappear. |
OF | Antifreeze function: In manual mode, turn the rotary knob counterclockwise to the OF icon. This closes the device valve and enables the antifreeze function. If the room temperature drops below 5°C, the function activates to prevent the radiator from freezing. It deactivates when the temperature exceeds 7°C. |
? | Low battery: Indicates that the batteries need to be replaced within one week. |

Pairing Process
1. Power on the device
Press the battery compartment latch [latch symbol] while taking out the shell [shell removal diagram]. Load the batteries [battery insertion diagram]. After powering on, the screen displays ", 17" and flashes ?.
2. Device installation
When ", 17" stops flashing, install the device to the radiator valve interface [installation diagram]. If the screen displays "F5" or "Ad", press the middle button, and ", 17" will display again.
3. Device debugging
Short press the middle button. The screen will display "Ad" flashing [flashing 'Ad' diagram]. Wait for about 5 seconds. The device will then display the initialization interface [initialization interface diagram], indicating debugging is complete.
4. Download the eWeLink App & Add SONOFF Zigbee gateway
The device supports gateways with Zigbee 3.0 wireless protocol. Download the eWeLink app and add your SONOFF Zigbee gateway.
5. Add the device to Zigbee gateway
In manual mode, turn the rotary knob counterclockwise until the screen displays "OF" [OF display diagram]. Press and hold the middle button for 3 seconds. The screen icon ? will flash, indicating the device is in pairing mode. Open the eWeLink app and add the device from the gateway homepage [app interface diagram].
Note: If the device fails to pair with the gateway within 3 minutes, it will exit pairing mode. To re-pair, press and hold the middle button for 3 seconds until the icon ? flashes when the screen shows "OF".
Temperature Control Mode
The device supports two modes: Auto and Manual. Short press the "Middle button" to switch between them.
- Auto mode: The screen displays a clock icon ⏰.
- Manual mode: The clock icon ⏰ disappears from the screen.
Note: Device pairing operations must be performed in manual mode.
Screen Display Rotation
You can change the screen display direction:
- Dismount the shell [shell removal diagram].
- Press the "Configuration key" for 3 seconds to change the screen display direction [rotation diagram].

Error Codes, Problems and Solutions

Factory Reset
To reset the device to factory settings:
- Press and hold the "Middle button" for a longer time.
- Simultaneously insert the batteries [battery insertion diagram].
- The screen will display "FA" and blink for 3 seconds [flashing 'FA' diagram].
- After this, the device will reset to factory settings and automatically restart.
Note: All previous settings will be cleared after a factory reset.
Safety and Compliance
CAUTION
RISK OF EXPLOSION IF BATTERY IS REPLACED BY AN INCORRECT TYPE. DISPOSE OF USED BATTERIES ACCORDING TO THE INSTRUCTIONS.
- Do not short-circuit batteries.
- Do not use new and old batteries together.
- Do not use batteries of different types/manufacturers together.
- Do not use batteries in reverse polarity.
- A battery which is leaking or has leaked before is not fit for use and should be thrown away. Place leaking batteries into a plastic bag without touching them, wear gloves and an apron, and then put it into a recycling box at an electrical store. If the device's circuit board is damaged due to a leaking battery, take the device to a Recupel collection point and the battery to a Bebat collection point.

Under normal use, this equipment should be kept at a separation distance of at least 20 cm between the antenna and the user's body.
