Note: The speaker is not waterproof and is only designed for use inside a building. Exposure to rain or other water sources will result in damage to the unit.
This unit is designed to operate at 100/70V. Please isolate the speaker cabling from the source before conducting any works within the unit.
Ensure the speaker is correctly installed into a firm recess. Failure to do so may result in the speaker failing and causing an injury or death.
Ensure all terminations are fully tightened to avoid short circuits forming due to disconnected cables.
Do not install speakers into humid, dusty, smoky or steamy environments; the speaker may be damaged and not operate correctly.
Do not use the fire dome as a junction box for other cables. Only 70 V / 100 V loudspeaker lines should be connected to this speaker.
Because of the many different types of ceiling materials and ceiling strengths, it should be ensured that the ceiling strength is suitable for the weight of the speaker.
Installation Instructions
- Unscrew the nut in the middle of the dome and remove the dome of the loudspeaker.
- Put the incoming cables through the cable entry of the dome and connect to the correct terminal.
- Put the dome back onto the loudspeaker and fix it with the nut.
- Lift the leg springs of the loudspeaker and put the loudspeaker into the ceiling cut-out.
- Adjust the loudspeaker into the ceiling cut-out until the speaker is completely locked up with the ceiling.
