Netatmo Smart Camera Homeowner Starter Guide

Congratulations on your purchase of a Netatmo smart camera!

We are sure this product will make your home more secure. Follow these easy steps to install your new camera.

Let's Get Started

1. Download the Home + Security App

To begin, download the dedicated Netatmo Home + Security app from your device's app store.

• Visit the [App Store] for iOS devices or the [Google Play] store for Android devices.
• Search for "Home+Security".
• Download and install the app.

The app provides a user-friendly interface for managing your Netatmo cameras and other compatible devices.

2. Create an Account

Once the app is installed, create your Netatmo account.

1. Launch the Home+Security app.
2. Tap "Sign up" at the bottom of the screen.
3. Enter your email address.
4. Choose a secure password meeting the specified criteria.
5. Once logged in, press "Start".

Note: If you already own a Bticino Classe300EOS or Classe100 Wi-Fi intercom, you can log in using the same credentials.

Camera Setup

Netatmo Smart Indoor Camera Setup

1. After installing the Home+Security app and creating your account, select "Netatmo" and then "Smart Indoor Camera" in the app.
2. Turn the camera upside down. Wait for the indicator light to flash green. Press "Next" in the app; it will search for the camera. Once found, press "Next".
3. Select your Wi-Fi network and name your smart home.
4. For Apple HomeKit / Siri control: Tap "Start pairing" and scan the Apple HomeKit QR code on the back of the camera when prompted.
5. Indicate the room where the camera is installed and give it a name.
6. Configure basic camera settings, which can be adjusted later in the app's 'settings' menu.
7. Tap "Continue" and wait for the app to finish setup (may take a few minutes).
8. Turn the camera upside down again. Setup is complete!

Netatmo Smart Outdoor Camera Setup

1. After installing the Home+Security app and creating your account, select "Netatmo" and then "Smart Outdoor Camera" in the app.
2. Ensure your Netatmo Outdoor Camera is powered on and select your Wi-Fi network.
3. Tap "Add a new home" and name your smart installation, or select an existing home if you have other Netatmo products. Confirm your selection.
4. If you have an existing installation in the Apple HomeKit app, select it. Otherwise, create a new one.
5. When prompted (camera activated on screen), scan the HomeKit setup code from the card provided in the box. Once detected, define its location and assign a name.
6. Configure basic recording settings (adjustable later in the app) and how they appear in Apple HomeKit. Tap "Done" when the camera is added.
7. The app will download the latest firmware and confirm setup completion.
