Sony PULSE Explore Wireless Earbuds Setup Guide
This guide provides instructions for setting up your Sony PULSE Explore wireless earbuds for various devices.
Connecting to PlayStation or PC
Follow these steps to connect your PULSE Explore earbuds to a PlayStation console or PC using the included USB transmitter.
Step 1: Connect the USB Transmitter
Insert the USB transmitter, marked with the [PS Logo], into a USB port on your PlayStation console or PC. The device will be automatically recognized.
Step 2: Prepare the Earbuds
Remove the PULSE Explore earbuds from their charging case. Ensure they are charged or charging.
Pairing with a Mobile Device via Bluetooth
Connect your PULSE Explore earbuds to a smartphone or tablet using Bluetooth.
Step 1: Initiate Pairing Mode
Place the PULSE Explore earbuds into their charging case. Press and hold the PlayStation button on the charging case for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light flashes blue. This signifies pairing mode, which lasts for about 8 seconds.
Step 2: Connect via Bluetooth Settings
On your mobile device ([Mobile Phone Icon]), navigate to the Bluetooth settings. Enable Bluetooth ([Bluetooth Symbol] toggle on). Select "PULSE Explore" from the list of available devices to establish the connection.
Step 3: Confirm Connection
Once successfully connected, the indicator light on the charging case ([Charging Case]) will turn solid blue.
Additional Information
Charging the Earbuds
Place the earbuds in the charging case. Connect the charging case to a power source using a USB-C cable. The charging indicator on the case will display the battery status.
Connect the [Charging Case] via a [USB-C Cable] to a [Power Source]. A [Charging Battery Icon] will indicate the charging status.
Volume Control
Adjust the volume directly on the earbuds using the integrated controls.
Each earbud features [Volume Up] and [Volume Down] controls.
