Sony PULSE Explore Wireless Earbuds Quick Start Guide

This guide provides essential steps to set up and use your Sony PULSE Explore wireless earbuds with PlayStation and other devices.

Connecting to PlayStation or PC

Step 1: Connect the USB Wireless Transceiver

Insert the USB wireless transceiver into a USB port on your PlayStation console or PC. A light on the transceiver will indicate it is connected.

Pairing the Earbuds

Step 2: Place Earbuds in Charging Case

Open the charging case and place both PULSE Explore earbuds inside. The earbuds will automatically attempt to connect to the previously paired device (e.g., the USB transceiver).

Bluetooth Pairing with Mobile Devices

Step 3: Initiate Bluetooth Pairing

To pair with a mobile device (smartphone, tablet), press and hold the touch sensor [pairing button] on each earbud for approximately 8 seconds [8-second timer]. This will put the earbuds into Bluetooth pairing mode. A visual or audio indicator will confirm pairing mode.

Step 4: Select on Mobile Device

On your mobile device, navigate to Bluetooth settings [Bluetooth symbol] and select "PULSE Explore" from the list of available devices to complete the pairing.

Charging the Earbuds and Case

Step 5: Charge the Device

Place the PULSE Explore earbuds in the charging case. Connect the charging case to a power source using a USB-C cable [USB-C port]. The charging case will charge both the earbuds and itself.
