8. Product Maintenance
1. Lubrication:
Lubricate with dedicated methyl silicone oil after a period of use. Recommended lubrication frequency:
- Weekly usage < 3 hours: Lubricate every 5 months.
- Weekly usage 4-7 hours: Lubricate every 2 months.
- Weekly usage > 7 hours: Lubricate every 1 month.
Note: Excessive lubrication is not beneficial. Proper lubrication is crucial for walking pad lifespan.
2. Checking if Lubrication is Needed:
Lift the treadmill belt and touch the center of the belt's back. If your hand feels slightly moist from silicone oil, no lubrication is needed. If the running board is dry, lubrication is required.
Steps to apply lubricant:
- Stop the treadmill.
- Lift a small portion of the running belt and spray methyl silicone oil on the inner side, near the center.
- Run the treadmill at 0.6mph to spread the oil evenly. Step lightly on the belt from left to right. Allow a few minutes for complete absorption.
3. Running Belt Tension Adjustment:
Treadmills are adjusted for tension before shipping. If the belt slips during use, adjust the belt adjustment bolts clockwise in half-turn increments on both sides. Avoid overtightening, which can increase load on the motor and damage components.
4. Running Belt Deviation Adjustment:
Deviation may occur due to unstable placement, uneven foot pressure, or uneven user force.
- If the belt deviates to the left: Adjust the left bolt clockwise or the right bolt counterclockwise.
- If the belt deviates to the right: Adjust the right bolt clockwise or the left bolt counterclockwise.
Note: Running belt deviation is not covered by warranty. Prompt detection and correction are necessary to prevent serious damage.
