The Eversolo Play is a high-performance, fully-featured Hi-Res music streaming integrated amplifier. As a digital audio player, it excels at playing and managing high-resolution local music files and incorporates premium third-party Hi-Res streaming services including TIDAL, Qobuz, HIGHRESAUDIO, Amazon Music, WebDAV, and UPnP.
As an integrated amplifier, the Play supports Optical, Coaxial, HDMI ARC, analog LINE IN, and PHONO inputs, allowing users to start their musical journey by simply connecting speakers.
Additionally, the Play supports USB audio output, delivering up to DSD512 and PCM 768KHz/32bit audio data. The decoding section utilizes the high-performance AK4493SEQ DAC with VELVET SOUND technology, designed for extremely low distortion and noise (THD+N). The amplifier section provides an output capability of 60W/8Ω and 110W/4Ω.

- 1. Power on/off socket/switch
- 2. Trigger In: Connects to front-end devices (source/preamp) for synchronized wake-up (5V-12V trigger voltage).
- 3. ARC: Connects to TVs, projectors, or other display devices with HDMI ARC/eARC functionality.
- 4. Optical Input: Connects CD players, set-top boxes, digital transports.
- 5. Coaxial Input: Connects CD players, set-top boxes, digital transports.
- 6. Ground Terminal: Connects to the ground wire of digital transports.
- 7. LINE IN (RCA): Connects to preamplifiers or analog signal sources.
- 8. PHONO MM/MC: Connects to turntables.
- 9. Reset Port: For system reset or OTG firmware updates.
- 10. Gigabit Ethernet network socket.

Front Panel

- 1. Display Screen: LCD touchscreen.
- 2. Volume Knob/Power Switch: Adjusts volume level and powers the device on/off.
- * Turn the volume knob to the minimum level before use (default volume -20dB).
Left Panel (CD Edition Only)
CD Drive Tray: Press the button to open or close the tray.
Power On/Off and Knob Control
Power On: Press the knob once when the device is powered off.
Shutdown/Restart: Short press the knob to access a pop-up menu to select shutdown or restart. Long press for 3 seconds to shut down.
Timed Shutdown: Choose from available timer settings or customize one.
Screen Off: The device continues to work. Tap the screen again to turn it back on.
Standby: Click to immediately put the system into standby mode.
Timed Standby: Choose from available timer settings or customize one.
Volume Control: Rotate the knob clockwise to increase volume and counterclockwise to decrease volume. The audio setting allows adjustment of the volume step (0.5dB to 3dB).
Basic Operation
Home Screen
The Home Screen displays various icons for accessing functions:
- Album Icon: Accesses the Music Player.
- Play/Pause: Controls playback.
- Next: Skips to the next track.
- Previous: Skips to the previous track.
- Home Page: Returns to the main screen.
- Return: Goes back to the previous screen.
Function Entrance: Displays Music Services, Functions, Apps, Connect, Cloud, Settings, and a navigation bar.
Music Player
The Eversolo Play features a built-in Hi-Res digital music player supporting digital audio transport, external hard drives, NAS over local networks, and lossless audio from streaming services. Access the Music Player by tapping the "album icon" in the top-right corner of the Home Screen. This interface shows the currently playing track's information, progress, and control icons.
- Favorite: Add the current track to your favorites.
- Playback Controls: Previous/Next track, Pause/Play.
- Switch Play Mode: Cycle through list loop, single loop, shuffle play, and order play modes.
- Play Queue: View all tracks currently selected for playback, organized by artist or album.
- CD (CD Edition Only): Eject/Load tray; displays the full track list.
Network Connection
Ensure the device is connected to the network before using playback functions. The device supports both wired and Wi-Fi connections. Configure network settings via Settings > Network Settings > WIFI/Wired network.
Source Selection
Navigate to "Settings > Source" to configure settings based on your connected devices.
Eversolo Play categorizes added music files by track, artist, and album.
Music Service
Music Services include Music Library, Listen at Will, My Favorites, streaming services, and music apps. Log in with your account to play music from third-party apps and streaming services.
Music Library
The music library allows you to manage and categorize local music. Tap "Add Library" to add music from local storage, external storage devices, SMB, or NFS networks.
Music Service Usage
Access streaming services and music apps by logging into your account.
Function
Function options include Files, CD, EQ, Room Correction, Multi room, and Transfer song.
File Manager
The File Manager handles files on local and removable storage devices, supporting LAN access to NFS and SMB services. It allows file operations (copy, paste, delete), organizing, and sorting.
CD Playback & Ripping
Connect a USB CD-ROM to play music from CDs and rip music files. To rip CDs, navigate to "Functions > CD ripping" and click the "start ripping" icon. You can change the save path for ripped files to local storage, removable storage, or NFS/SMB devices. Supported formats include WAV and FLAC.
EQ
The device features a Digital Signal Processor (EQ) for the internal player and digital audio inputs (coaxial/optical/ARC). It supports parametric EQ, filters, loudness, dynamic range control, compressors, and channel delay. The "Room Calibration" function helps optimize audio quality based on room acoustics.
The PEQ function works with internal player and digital audio inputs, and also supports analog signal input captured via a high-spec ADC (up to 192KHz), outputting via digital audio interfaces or speaker interfaces.

Transfer
Use "Functions > Transfer" to move songs from your computer to the device over the same network. Select a path to save songs in the Music Directory.
Apps
View, install, and uninstall third-party apps. To install apps, download the APK file, copy it to a removable hard drive, insert the drive into the device, and install via the File Manager. Tablet apps are recommended.
Music Connect
Supports streaming protocols like TIDAL Connect, DLNA, and Squeeze Connect. Ensure your phone or computer is on the same local network as the device to stream music directly.
Settings
System Settings
System Settings include Source, Audio Settings, Playback Settings, Display Settings, Network Settings, Phone Control, Update, SetUpWizard, Other Settings, and About.
Note: For digital outputs (USB, SPDIF), set the volume to maximum. No volume adjustment is needed for internal analog output.
Audio Settings
Navigate to "Settings > Audio Settings" to configure settings for Speaker output, Subwoofer, Coaxial output, USB DAC output, ARC Mode, Phono in mode, and Maximum volume limit.
Playback Settings
Navigate to "Settings > Playback Settings" to configure Playback Mode, CD Auto Play, Gapless playback, ReplayGain source mode, Auto-play Queue on Startup, and Auto Open Playback screen on Startup.
Display Settings
Navigate to "Settings > Display Settings" to adjust screen brightness, screensaver, screensaver modes, knob brightness & color, VU meter display modes, spectrum, theme, play details, and auto-hide navigation bar.
- Screen Brightness: Adjust the device screen's brightness.
- Knob Settings: Customize the knob light's brightness and color.
- Screensaver: The system enters screen saver mode after inactivity. Exit by pressing the power button or touching the screen.
- Screensaver Modes: Choose from 9 preset styles.
- VU Meter: Select different VU meter styles.
- Theme: Switch between "Simple" and "Classic" themes.
Network Settings
Control the Eversolo Play via a mobile app. Navigate to "Settings > Phone Control", scan the QR code to download and install the "Eversolo Control" app, or download it from the official website.
Mobile Controlling App
Ensure the device and phone are on the same local network. Open the app, select the "play" device, and add it to access the control interface.
Other Settings
- Language: Navigate to "Settings > Other Settings > Language" to choose the menu language.
- USB OTG Port: Connect to a computer via USB data cable for file copying and management. Navigate to "Settings > Other Settings > USB-OTG port".
System Update
Access "Settings > Update" for Online update and USB update options.
- Online update: Connect to the internet, navigate to "Settings > Update" or "Settings > About > Version", select "Online update", and follow prompts.
- USB update: Download the firmware update package from the official website to a USB stick. Connect the USB stick to the device's USB-A port. Navigate to "Settings > Update" or "Settings > About > Version", select "USB update", and follow prompts.
- Notes: Do not remove the USB stick or power off during the upgrade. Use a FAT32 formatted USB stick. The downloaded file package does not need to be unzipped.
Connection and Setting
The Eversolo Play offers USB audio, Coaxial digital audio output, and analog audio amplifier output.
USB OUTPUT
Connect the device's USB audio output to an external DAC's USB input using a USB audio cable. Navigate to "Settings > Source", select "Internal player" as input, and "USB DAC" as output. USB audio output supports up to DSD512 Native and PCM 768KHz 32Bit.
Coaxial Output
Connect the Coaxial output to an audio decoder or AV receiver using a Coaxial audio cable. Navigate to "Settings > Source > Output port" and select "COAX". Coaxial output supports up to Stereo PCM 192KHz 24Bit and DOP64.
Speaker Output
Connect speakers to the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals. Navigate to "Settings > Source > Output port" and select "Speaker". Ensure correct polarity and impedance matching.
Sub Out
Connect a subwoofer using a dual-ended red and white RCA cable. Navigate to "Settings > Source > Output port > Subwoofer" and enable the Sub ON/OFF button.
Optical/Coaxial Input
Connect S/PDIF sources (media player, CD player) using an Optical or Coaxial audio cable. Navigate to "Settings > Source" and select "Optical In" or "Coaxial In". Use 75 Ohm Coaxial or standard optical cables. Input supports up to PCM 192KHz 24Bit and DOP64.
ARC Input
Connect a TV, projector, or other display device with HDMI eARC/ARC functionality using an HDMI cable. Navigate to "Settings > Source" and select "ARC In". Connect to the TV's ARC/eARC labeled HDMI port. Supports up to PCM 192KHz 24Bit. Use a physical HDMI cable.
LINE IN
Connect analog RCA audio sources (e.g., CD players) using a dual-ended red and white RCA cable. Navigate to "Settings > Source" and select "LINE In".
PHONO Input
Connect an external turntable (MM/MC) using a dual-ended red and white RCA cable. Navigate to "Settings > Source", select "PHONO In". Switch PHONO input mode via "Settings > Audio Settings > PHONO in mode".
Bluetooth Input
The device has a built-in Bluetooth audio receiver supporting lossless protocols like SBC/AAC. Pair with mobile devices for wireless playback. Navigate to "Settings > Source", select "Bluetooth In". Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device, search for "play", and pair.
Downloads
For product firmware upgrades, USB drivers, and mobile control APP downloads, visit the Downloads page on the official website and scan the QR code. After downloading, unzip the package, double-click the .exe file, and follow the installation prompts.
