AmpliTube X-TIME Quick Start Guide

This guide provides essential information for operating the AmpliTube X-TIME pedal.

General Controls

PRESET/SAVE Encoder: Rotate to browse through 300 available presets. Press to save a preset.

MODEL/BACK Encoder: Rotate to browse through 16 available models. Press to go back when navigating menus.

MAIN PARAMETERS Knobs: Turn to edit the main parameter of the selected model. These knobs are common to all X-TIME models but their function is customized for each.

A, B, TAP LEDs: Indicate preset status (Green: active, Amber: edited, Blinking Amber: browsing banks, Off: bypassed). TAP LED blinks at the preset's current tempo (Green for internal tempo, Amber for MIDI clock tempo).

A, B, TAP Footswitches:

PARAMETER/SETUP Encoder: Press to access the selected model’s additional parameters. Hold to access global and preset setups.

Global Settings

Global settings affect the X-TIME independently of the selected preset.

To Access Global Settings:

  1. Push and hold the PARAMETER encoder.
  2. Turn to browse to GLOBAL, then push to select it.
  3. Turn and push to browse and select different settings.
  4. Push the MODEL encoder to go back.

Preset Settings

Preset settings affect only the currently selected preset.

To Access Preset Settings:

  1. Push and hold the PARAMETER encoder.
  2. Turn to browse to PRESET, then push to select it.
  3. Turn and push to browse and select different settings.
  4. Push the MODEL encoder to go back.

Additional Parameters

Each model has additional editable parameters.

To Access Additional Parameters:

  1. Press the PARAMETER encoder to enter the PARAMETERS list.
  2. Turn to browse parameters, then push to select one.
  3. Turn to edit the selected parameter.
  4. Press the PARAMETER encoder to return to the PARAMETERS list.
  5. Press the MODEL encoder to exit the parameter list.

Saving Presets

To Save a Preset:

  1. Press the PRESET encoder to enter the saving process.
  2. The first letter of the preset name blinks, indicating the cursor position.
  3. Rename the preset: Turn the PRESET encoder to select a character, and the MODEL encoder to change the cursor position.
  4. Press the PRESET encoder to confirm the name.
  5. The display shows the location (bank number and slot).
  6. Turn the PRESET encoder to select the desired location.
  7. Press the PRESET encoder to select the location and save the preset.

Quick Save: Hold down the PRESET encoder until the display shows SAVED.
