AmpliTube X-TIME Quick Start Guide
This guide provides essential information for operating the AmpliTube X-TIME pedal.
General Controls
PRESET/SAVE Encoder: Rotate to browse through 300 available presets. Press to save a preset.
MODEL/BACK Encoder: Rotate to browse through 16 available models. Press to go back when navigating menus.
MAIN PARAMETERS Knobs: Turn to edit the main parameter of the selected model. These knobs are common to all X-TIME models but their function is customized for each.
A, B, TAP LEDs: Indicate preset status (Green: active, Amber: edited, Blinking Amber: browsing banks, Off: bypassed). TAP LED blinks at the preset's current tempo (Green for internal tempo, Amber for MIDI clock tempo).
A, B, TAP Footswitches:
- Press A or B to engage or bypass the current bank's preset.
- Hold A or B to access the X-MODE for the selected model.
- Press A+B to select a lower bank.
- Press B+TAP to select a higher bank.
- Press TAP to tap the tempo for the delay.
PARAMETER/SETUP Encoder: Press to access the selected model’s additional parameters. Hold to access global and preset setups.
Global Settings
Global settings affect the X-TIME independently of the selected preset.
To Access Global Settings:
- Push and hold the PARAMETER encoder.
- Turn to browse to GLOBAL, then push to select it.
- Turn and push to browse and select different settings.
- Push the MODEL encoder to go back.
Settings include:
- NAME MODE: Changes how preset names are displayed (NAME, PC+NAME, BNK+NAME).
- BYPASS MODE: Sets the bypass technology (TRUE or SOFT).
- CAB SIM: Selects the preferred Cabinet Simulator from 5 options.
- SPILLOVER: Activates spillover for delay tails.
- MAIN BPM: Sets the global BPM for presets with BPM MODE set to GLOBAL.
- OPERATIVE MODE: Sets the pedal's mode (LIVE or INTERFACE).

Preset Settings
Preset settings affect only the currently selected preset.
To Access Preset Settings:
- Push and hold the PARAMETER encoder.
- Turn to browse to PRESET, then push to select it.
- Turn and push to browse and select different settings.
- Push the MODEL encoder to go back.
Settings include:
- EXP. LEARN: Assigns new functions to the expression pedal for complex macros.
- BPM MODE: Sets the BPM mode for the selected preset (GLOBAL or PRESET).

Additional Parameters
Each model has additional editable parameters.
To Access Additional Parameters:
- Press the PARAMETER encoder to enter the PARAMETERS list.
- Turn to browse parameters, then push to select one.
- Turn to edit the selected parameter.
- Press the PARAMETER encoder to return to the PARAMETERS list.
- Press the MODEL encoder to exit the parameter list.

Saving Presets
To Save a Preset:
- Press the PRESET encoder to enter the saving process.
- The first letter of the preset name blinks, indicating the cursor position.
- Rename the preset: Turn the PRESET encoder to select a character, and the MODEL encoder to change the cursor position.
- Press the PRESET encoder to confirm the name.
- The display shows the location (bank number and slot).
- Turn the PRESET encoder to select the desired location.
- Press the PRESET encoder to select the location and save the preset.
Quick Save: Hold down the PRESET encoder until the display shows SAVED.
