Controller Connection Instructions
Step 1: Download Flydigi Controller Assistant
To begin, download the Flydigi Gamepad Assistant application. Scan the provided QR code to install it. For Android users, please download the Flymagic version of the application. Alternatively, you can visit the official Flydigi website at https://www.flydigi.com to download the software.
Step 2: Connect to Cellphone using Bluetooth
- For first-time use, connect the converter to a 5V power source and slide the power switch to 'ON'. The device will enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by the indicator light flashing quickly in blue.
- On your mobile phone, navigate to the Bluetooth settings. Turn on Bluetooth, search for the device named 'FeizhiQ1', and connect. The indicator light will remain steadily blue once the connection is successfully established.
Note: For previously paired converters, they will automatically attempt to reconnect to the last connected cellphone after being disconnected from power and restarted. During this reconnection process, the indicator light will flash slowly in blue. If you need to change the paired cellphone, you must first cancel the previous Bluetooth pairing or turn off Bluetooth on the phone. Then, press and hold the Bluetooth pairing button on the converter for over 5 seconds until the indicator light flashes quickly in blue.
Step 3: Activate Flymapping Button Cloud Mapping (For Android devices only)
Ensure that USB debugging mode is enabled on your Android phone, following the instructions provided within the Flydigi Gamepad Assistant's button mapping activation guide. Use the data cable provided with your cellphone to connect the phone and the converter.
When a prompt for 'Allow USB debugging?' appears on your cellphone, select 'OK'. After the activation process is successful, the indicator light on the converter will stay steadily in orange. At this point, the data cable can be disconnected, and the indicator light will then change to stay steadily in blue.
Note: Button cloud mapping activation is only supported through the Flymagic port. Please ensure the connection is correctly established.
Step 4: Connect Keyboard and Mouse
Once the converter is connected to a USB keyboard and mouse, the Flydigi controller assistant will display a prompt confirming that 'keyboard and mouse are connected'. The setup involves connecting the converter to a 5V power source, and then connecting a USB keyboard and mouse to the converter's USB port. The converter also connects to the mobile device via Bluetooth.
Note: The keyboard/mouse extension feature supports various keyboard and mouse devices with a USB port, including USB wired keyboards and mice, as well as wireless keyboard and mouse suites.
Step 5: Launch Game
For an optimal gaming experience, it is recommended to launch your games through the Flydigi Controller Assistant application.
Android devices support adding games to the assistant. Games that were not downloaded directly from the Flydigi Gamepad Assistant can be added manually by using the '+' sign within the 'My' section of the app and then customizing their settings.
Flashplay Smart Connect
The Flydigi Q1 converter is equipped with Flydigi's innovative Flashplay Smart Connect mode. This feature includes built-in button mapping algorithms, eliminating the need for activation on the phone. Simply connect the converter to your device via Bluetooth to start playing mobile games.
Please use the Flydigi Game Center app to configure game buttons.
Unsupported models: Smart Connect technology currently does not support phones with MediaTek processors. Users of such phones must use Bluetooth and follow the instructions in the Flydigi Game Center app to activate game button mapping and play games.
