Thermal Grizzly WireView PRO GPU Menu System Guide
Firmware Version: FW Rev01
Overview
After installing the WireView Pro GPU, the displayed values on the screen can be toggled during operation. To do this, press the button on the right side of the WireView Pro GPU.
Display Modes
A short press of the button cycles through the eight display modes:
- DISPLAY POWER: Displays the current power consumption in watts [W].
- DISPLAY DETAILS: Shows current temperature [°C], current power consumption [W], current voltage [V], and current amperage [A].
- DISPLAY TEMP 1: Displays the temperature at the power supply connector (TIN) and at the GPU connector (TOUT) in degrees Celsius [°C].
- DISPLAY TEMP 2: Displays the measured temperature from external temperature sensors connected to the two 2-pin connectors (Connector A: "TA" and Connector B: "TB") in degrees Celsius [°C].
- DISPLAY STATS 1: Shows the highest recorded temperature (TMAX) and which sensor measured it.
- DISPLAY STATS 2: Shows the minimum and maximum power consumption in watts [W].
- DISPLAY ENERGY: Displays the average power consumption of the last 60 seconds [RAVG in W] and total energy consumption [E in WH].
- DISPLAY SENSE: Displays the recognized specification of the 12VHPWR power connector from the power supply. Additional info under "HWARN".
Menu Navigation
A long press of the button, while in one of the eight display modes, enters the menu. The following options are available:
- STATS: Reset the MIN and MAX values in the DISPLAY STATS view.
- ENERG: Reset the total energy consumption shown in the DISPLAY ENERGY view.
- TIMEO: Configure the behavior for the timeout in both the menu and normal operation. Options include "Cycle" (default, cycles through display modes), "None" (fixed display), and "OLEDX" (turns off display after a one-minute timeout). Note: The timeout function protects the OLED display from "burn-in". It is recommended to set the timeout to CYCLE or OLEDX.
- AVG: Change the measurement cycle for determining power consumption. Available sampling intervals are 29US (29 µs), 1MS (1 ms), and 200MS (200 ms).
- ROT: Rotate the display by 180 degrees.
- TWARN: Set the temperature threshold [°C] at which an audible alarm is triggered. Adjustment is in 5-degree Celsius increments (min. 60°C, max. 105°C).
- CWARN: Set the threshold for triggering an audible alarm for exceeding current in amperes [A]. Adjustment is in 5-ampere increments (min. 15A, max. 100A).
- HWARN: Configure the 12VHPWR connector specification. By default, pin detection is set to 450 watts. A warning is issued if the power cable specification is below 450 watts. If the cable/power supply is rated for 600 watts, 600 watts should be set. If a 12VHPWR power connector from the power supply with a different specification (150/300 watts) is plugged in, the WireView Pro GPU emits an audible alarm. The alarm also sounds if the cable is not properly connected. Note: The HWARN warning value must be selected according to the power supply/cable rating.
- START: Set which display mode appears when the PC is started.
- FIRMWARE VERSION: Shows the version of the firmware installed on the WireView Pro GPU.
Setting Adjustments
Changing settings is done in individual submenus:
- STATS: Long press the button to switch to the "CLEAR" display. Confirm with another long press to reset values.
- ENERG: Long press the button to switch to the "CLEAR" display. Confirm with another long press to reset values.
- TIMEO: Long press the button to access the "OLEDX" display. Short presses toggle between "CYCLE", "NONE", and back to "OLEDX". Long press confirms the selection.
- AVG: Long press the button to access the "1MS" display. Short presses change the value to "29US" or "200MS". Long press confirms the selection.
- ROT: Long press the button to access orientation selection. Short presses switch between "0" and "180".
- TWARN: Long press the button to access the threshold value. Short presses increase the value by 5°C increments. Long press saves the selected threshold.
- CWARN: Long press the button to access the threshold value. Short presses increase the value by 5A increments. Long press saves the selected threshold.
- HWARN: Long press the button to select the 12VHPWR connector specification. Short presses adjust the specification in 150-watt increments. IMPORTANT: The value must be set according to the specification of the 12VHPWR power connector of the power supply!
