Alternate Setup Method
1. Plug In: Connect the power cord to your Wi-Fi Extender and plug it into a power outlet near your AT&T Wi-Fi Gateway.
2. Power Up: Push the Power button on the back of the Wi-Fi Extender. Wait approximately 2-3 minutes for the light to blink GREEN.
3. Pair: Press the WPS button on your AT&T Wi-Fi Gateway (ensure WPS is enabled). Then, press the WPS button on your Wi-Fi Extender. Wait about 3 minutes for the devices to automatically pair. The light will turn solid GREEN when paired. (Note: The light may turn off during pairing; this is normal. If it does not light up solid GREEN within 5 minutes, repeat the pairing process.)
4. Place: Unplug your Wi-Fi Extender from the power outlet. Move your Wi-Fi Extender to a new location between your Wi-Fi Gateway and the area where you want a stronger signal. The maximum recommended distance between devices is 40 feet, with a maximum of two walls or one floor separation. Extenders work best on open surfaces away from obstructions and interference sources like microwaves.
5. Plug In Again: Plug your Wi-Fi Extender into a power outlet and wait a few minutes for the connection to reestablish and the light to turn GREEN.
You're done!
