Device Layout

The Remax RP1 features several controls and ports for its operation:

  • 5. Next song button: Navigates to the next track or option.

Charging the Device

When the battery level is low, a notification sign will appear, or the device may turn off automatically. To recharge:

  • Connect one end of the USB cable to the Digital Voice Recorder's USB port.
  • Connect the other end to a power source (e.g., a computer or USB adapter).
  • Recharging takes approximately 2 hours.
  • The display will show when the recorder is fully charged.

Settings Configuration

General Settings Access

  • Record Format: Press the "Play" button to enter format settings. Use the +/- buttons to choose between MP3 or PCM format. Press "Play" again to exit settings.
  • BPS (Bits Per Second):
    • For MP3 format, there are three BPS options: 32, 64, or 128kbps. Select using the +/- buttons.
    • For PCM format, there are three BPS options: 512, 768, or 1536kbps. Select using the +/- buttons.
  • Voice Control: Press the "Play" button to access voice control settings. Use the +/- buttons to toggle it On or Off.
  • Monitor Setting: Press the "Play" button to enter the monitor setting. Use the +/- buttons to toggle it On or Off. Press the "Play" button again to confirm the selection.

Detailed Settings Menu

  1. Auto Shutdown:
    • Navigate to this setting using the +/- buttons.
    • Press "Play" to enter the setting.
    • Select the desired shutdown time (between 1 to 99 minutes) using the +/- buttons.
  2. Display Settings:
    • Brightness: Press "Play" to enter. Choose the brightness level using the +/- buttons. Press "Play" again to confirm.
    • Backlight Timer: Press "Play" to enter. Adjust the timer duration using the +/- buttons. Press "Play" again to confirm.
  3. Data and Time:
    • In the settings menu, press the "Play" button to enter the data and time settings.
    • Use the "Previous" and "Next" buttons to navigate between time elements (hours, minutes, etc.).
    • Use the +/- buttons to adjust the selected time setting.
    • Use the "Previous" and "Next" buttons to switch between different options or fields.
    • Press the "Play" button when you have finished setting the date and time.
  4. Language:
    • Select the "Language" option within the settings menu.
    • Use the "Previous" and "Next" buttons to scroll through and select your desired language.
    • Press the "Play" button to confirm your selection and save the language setting.
  5. Message:
    • Player Message: Displays the current software version number.
    • Disk Memory: Shows the available storage space and the total memory capacity of the device.
  6. Formatting:
    • If you need to format the device's storage, select this option.
    • Press the "Play" button to initiate formatting.
    • A confirmation prompt will appear. Use the "Previous" or "Next" button to select "Ok".
    • Press the "Play" button to confirm and begin the formatting process.
  7. Factory Reset:
    • To restore the device to its original factory settings, select this option.
    • A confirmation prompt will appear. Use the "Previous" or "Next" button to select "Ok".
    • Press the "Play" button to confirm and execute the factory reset.
